Hotel Bar Maffi

We lived in Rauma up to a couple of months ago, & went back to visit all our friends. We had enjoyed going in Bar Maffi (Sports Bar) on a regular basis, & decided that it would be nice to stop here for the long weekend we were back. We were so impressed with the room, everything was there you needed, very clean, decorated wonderfully... & I fell in love with the shower! There was also a 'pod' coffee machine in the room, a far better quality than the normal kettle & sachet of coffee powder! As there are quite a few contractors staying there, breakfast is laid out from around 2am - cereals, bread to toast, spreads, hard boiled eggs, juice, fruit, & a wonderful coffee machine, that makes whatever your heart desired... as we were quite late risers, due to partying too hard, I was very impressed that the breakfast was still there up till about 3 in the afternoon. There was also a wonderful touch of a 'buttie bag' in the fridge - each person has a paper sack, with a sandwich, fruit, an orange drink & a chocolate bar - ideal for taking to work, or with you if you're off on a hike, or, indeed, to supplement your breakfast! For us, this Hotel was ideal for our requirements - & just upstairs from one of our favorite pubs in Rauma - we will be booking there again when we visit Rauma in December!
