Very large and confortable room with ensuite bathroom. Great mattress, hot water and... Very nice view. It's quiet, one can sleep well and dream about all the Lalibela's churches and heritage.
Good price with a good breakfast which is included.
Sami, who runs the guesthouse, is a nice and young cool guy who will help you with everything. As his brother. They were extra welcoming with me as they took me to a bar for sunset from which the view on the valley is breathtaking. 

Great place : go go go

Amazing location, view from balcony, hosts. The room was clean and away from the noises of center.

Nice room

This is a lovely little place to stay. Nothing fancy, but clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with simple but delicious breakfast.  Kind hosts who take care of whatever you need--better water pressure, airport shuttle, water bottles, ordering bajaj (tuk tuk), guide.  We had a room with a small balcony with view facing the mountains, which was lovely to sit outside. Easy to walk from here to the Southern churches, though uphill.  Safe area, with a couple small but nice restaurants nearby--Kana is especially good!

Lovely little guesthouse--would stay again happily

Stayed in Villa Lalibela Guesthouse with two friends in late-May during the tourist low season. The rooms were massive, breakfast was delicious and prepared in front of you, and staff was incredibly accommodating (we arrived after hours and they happily met us at the entrance and set us up in our rooms).

Great stay and breakfast

We stayed 3 nights,  had a good and welcomed time here to easter. Breakfast is good, on time, only the shower is sometimes not working  (water pressure Problem )the rooms are friendly,  big,  and a nice view. A good place to stay!

Very friendly, cleanbig room 

The guest house is really clean and cosy and although next to the centre it still is located in a quiet area.
The fairly priced rooms are all very spacious and have well working seperated hot showers. Guests are allowed to joy in the sittingroom and to use the outside porch and garden.
The girl who is running it is friendly and very helpfully.
Breakfast is good and not restricted.

A place to restore

All good. Security man asked me for new shoes. He stays in a small coffin and is paid very little I guess. They didn't believe that I paid online, but it was resolved with a few phone calls.Big rooms.

Spent two nights here in mid January 2019. We are two single women and had booked this guesthouse on the basis of the previous reviews. Our two rooms were lovely with small balconies overlooking quiet neighbourhood with cocks crowing and cicadas buzzing. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds. The shower is unrealiable but ok when it works.
The real disappointment was the breakfast which was by far the most inferior of our tour. The young girl clearly had no idea what an omelette was - we were presented with lumps of burnt fried eggs.Fruit was minimal so we bought our own fruit for our second breakfast. Coffee was limited. 
Location is great with several good nearby restaurants within walking distance for lunch/dinner.

The room I booked online was occupied (!!!) I have been told “sorry!” and given very poor quality room with much low value. Of course, my money for the nice room have never been returned.
