I am glad i took this hotel in Addis Ababa. It was clean, well equipped and with nice staff. Service room was very helpfull. If you need accommodation in Addis Ababa, it should be Home Town Addis Hotel!

Really recommended! Lovely and very helpful Staff. Good food in a restaurant and good location. Best pleace to stay in Ethiopia. Nothing to complain. Rooms are clean up every day. No problem with communication.

Me and my family stayed at home town Addis hotel and the room was clean and the owner was friendly and helpful,  kirubel and the food and the wife and the location was wonderful, thank you so much hopefully we will come back again

What a great Hotel in Addis Ababa, friendly staff, clean rooms and a great location. The staff went BEYOND the call of duty for us, making sure that whatever we needed was available. Kerubel the manager was OUTSTANDING. I would recommend this hotel for its personalized service above all !

Hometown Addis is a Home away from Home

Stayed at this hotel for a little over 3 weeks and it definitely made our stay much more comfortable. Very clean rooms, staff is friendly, and front desk/management are extremely accommodating. The location is near Edna mall, popular restaurants/bars around Bole, and 10-15 minutes from the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel to first-time travellers in Ethiopia, and will be returning myself for my next trip.

Me and a few friends stayed here for the month of January. Very nice rooms. Great counter service.
Very comfortable and the accommodations were clean and up to date. It was a pleasant stay.

We spent a couple of nights at Hometown in December 2019 and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet is fantastic, and Wi-Fi is really good!
And the overall service is great. Equally important, it's in a great location, with onsite bar and restaurant, as well as a multitude of nearby options for great local and international food/cafe etc. the owners Kirubel, at hometown Addis were amazing, and looked after us like family Staff is more than willing to set you up with transportation or directions. Awesome value. Nothing was too much for them. We highly recommend and are very thankful

Highly recommended - great location, clean, safe, friendly

We had a pleasant stay in a very tranquil hotel, which is run by two respectful brothers and with exemplary work ethics - leading by example i.e. partaking in cleaning, serving, driving and maintenance works. 

The Hotel located in the bustling part of the city where most of the amenities are either within walking distance or short taxi ride.

The staff were very polite and keen to serve, to name some Dereje during breakfast and Kirube in dealing all customers' hospitality matters.

The room was clean, well maintained and had a Wi-Fi access that allowed us to work on our laptops.

A teething issue that the hotel needs to address is the tuning of the rooms' TV for both domestic and extraterrestrial channels.

It is worth mentioning the fact that the hotel's management are open to suggestions and views.

Fab Hotel to stay!

During my visit to Addis (born and raised in U.S.) I stayed for about 2 weeks during my one month visit to stay with my family. This is the place you want to stay in Addis! If you're looking for affordable accommodation with the best value this is it. The staff and owners are so lovely! The rooms and bathrooms are like any other top star hotel you'd find in Addis or the States. Free daily water restocks, mini fridge, a safe, TV, plenty of storage, towels, daily house keeping etc. The reception desk agents speak perfect English and theres always someone there to help you with the bags up the stairs (remember to tip, it's not a written requirement but it's kind and expected, as it is in the U.S.) Kerubel was very responsive and helpful via airbnb before and during my stay. Atlas is a good area to get to and from places in Addis it's centrally located and easy for Taxis and drivers to locate. Enjoy!
