El Roy

El Roy is a wonderful little hotel close to everything. It's just over a block to the bus terminal and three blocks to Central Park. Roman and his staff are warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel is super clean which is hard to find in Ecuador unless, perhaps, it's an expensive luxury hotel. The rooms are roomy and nicely furnished, and our room was always nice and warm even though it was cold outside. Because El Roy is three blocks from the center, it's also very quiet. For the quietest rooms, ask for a room that faces the back gardens. We stayed here for over three weeks in the off season and would definitely stay here again. We feel that we have made some wonderful friends in Roman and Anita.
