A great place to go as a family to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere, away from the city to meditate, rest and feel nature, very affordable prices and very good service, only that you have to bring your own food, but it is equipped with a kitchen and everything so that you can cook in the greenhouse, oven or heat in the microwave, has hot water and electricity 24/7 A highly recommended place to go to clear your mind and relax with your friends or family.

Hermosa villa is located in jarabacoa.

We had booked a family room for 2 people with 3 beds here. We did this to have more space. Apparently the hotel unwittingly assumed that we were a couple and offered us an upgrade to a room with Queensize bed. I did not go into this upgrade at all, but on arrival I had to find that the hotel had already done the upgrade without explicit permission and no other room was available. Apart from the fact that this room was not in question because of the bed, it particularly annoyed me that the window was in the room and was transparent, like a glass of milk. For this reason there was a bathroom and a toilet that was cut off, but one had made a corner of the bathroom to rest on its own. In fact, I had a feeling that the room was a great room, and I could not afford to book it.

An upgrade is an upgrade?

The hostel is super clean, there's very kind attention everywhere. Chocolate, free coffee and water, a welcome room. The communication with Molly was incredibly good. She organized a trip for me and immediately answered all my questions via email. There's an information folder in the room in the language I needed, with very good tips about Jarabacoa. Restaurants, excursions, important phone numbers. It's very quiet in the house. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and clean. I'm doing my laundry without extra charge, which I really like! The staff on site is very nice and accessible at any time, only in Spanish, but I could also come with my hands and feet. I had to stay outside with them for an extra night, and I was able to get out of the house with my hands and feet. I had to stay at the door with Katzido for an extra morning, and I was able to get out of the house with my hands and feet.

Hi! Recently my husband and I visited Jarabacoa for our 26th Anniversary and stayed at Jarabacoa Mountain Hostel. It was a perfect decision. So beautiful, comfortable, great staff and great location. Don’t hesitate to ask for David and his partners as tour guides, they know about everything you should visit and things to do, and you always will feel secure in their company. We strongly recommend horse riding and four wheels adventure to La Presa!! And don’t forget to visit Aroma de la
Montaña to enjoy a beautiful view of Jarabacoa (it is a beautiful restaurant in the top of a mountain good for walk around and drink some cocktails but I don’t recommend to eat there). We strongly recommend the Italian restaurant and the french restaurant (famous crepes), both are the best options to have a great and romantic dinner. And don’t forget to visit Constanza and its Aguas Blancas waterfall!!

Excelent Hostel

Lovely place, I love it, if you are looking for tranquility and contact with nature, it is the place to go. Love the cleanliness of the place, hot water, facilities, staff.

Molly and her team have been really kind and helpful during our stay. Place is amazing, clean and comfy!

Located outside of the centre, you will need a taxi or moto-concho to go there. It takes 15 minutes by foot but don’t during the night 😉

Wonderful villa and helpful staff

The place was perfect for alternative destinations & market. Everything was completed without any rush 

Hospitality was excellent at all times. Clean place & share kitchen space were just about perfect. People always has enough space to work on their stuff 

Just right 

I love this place!!  i traveled alone to re-connect with inspiration and have some days of relaxation, my room has a balcony with a direct view to the sunset and the whole place is full of pretty details , the living room and the kitchen are absoluty stunning. Molly the owner was so kind and helful in every question that i had , she booked all my exscursions and contact to me with a local guides. just to mention that i forgot my passport on the hostel and she sent it to Santo Domingo and i never felt that i have to worried about it. I stayed 4 nights and try to book one more but the place was full for the weekend , i definitly go back more than one time !

a place full of inspiration.

More of a nice hotel than hostel; this place was great to return to after a day or exploring. Super clean and well decorated. We had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. Thank you for having us. We’d recommend to anyone staying in Jarabacoa 

Perfect stay

I recently visited Jarabacoa for the first time and had a awesome stay at the Jarabacoa  Mountain Hostel (larger Villa).  The hostel was immaculate in cleanliness, accommodations and the view. We had a group of 23 people and we all slept comfortably. I plan to visit again soon and I’ll definitely book the hostel again and I’ve told all my friends about it. Best lodging ever!!!
