All was ok until someone from the stuff approached me during breakfast raising her voice (almost screaming) telling me that breakfast was not included (it was) and that I should go to reception. I left in the middle of my breakfast y confirmed that it was included with reception. Nobody apologised for that situation. What a way to waste an experience.

Shady area night receptionist need to be better trained

DO NOT STAY HERE! 

The hotel is awful, it was so unclean. The water was brown, and room smelled of cigarettes. As you can see from photos attached, the water was dirty, there was a cigarette bud left in the vent of the room and the bed sheets were dirty. Breakfast was horrible, nothing was fresh. Please do not stay here.

We were on our way from Croatia to Lithuania, and decided to stop midways for a nights sleep. The rooms were okay, although lacked AC, which made it unbearable to sleep on those really hard beds. When the kids and everyone went to bed, a bunch of youngsters began shouting and yelling. They went from the street, and into the building and made a havoc. That was really irritating. I have never experienced a thing like this, and made us feel uncomfortable. Another issue was the parking. It was by the church, like 200m away for the hotel building, but again didn’t feel safe leaving our cars there. Locals said its a very dangerous area, and the reception didn’t do anything. Really disappointed! The layout of the building reminds a lot soviet barracks. Will never return again.

Loud neighbors and uncomfortable

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Its located in Vitkovice, a suburb of Ostrava.
I found it easy to get to the hotel by tram no 2 from Ostrava main train station.
The hotel is particularly convenient if you are visiting the football ground for Banik (20 minutes walk), or the Bolt Tower (15 minutes walk).

All the reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful. The Luxe room i stayed in was clean and spacious. In the morning the buffet breakfast had enough to keep me satisfied.

I had no complaints and recommend it as a good budget choice in Vitkovice.

Good experience

I recently stayed here for two nights in one of their "Standard" category rooms on the top floor of the building.

The hotel is clean and is located directly on the tramline from the main train station, so very easy to reach if you're coming to the city by train.

The "Standard" rooms are basic, but perfectly adequate for a place to keep your things and sleep for a couple of days. You get a decently sized room with a private bathroom, a wardrobe and TV. I found the TV had a few English language channels available on it.

The beds were OK, but a bit hard for my liking so I wouldn't want to sleep on them for more than one or two nights.

All the front desk staff I dealt with at the hotel were friendly and professional and spoke good English.

Breakfast was a very typical self serve continental type and the dining room was nice and spacious.

The hotel could improve by Investing in some noise reduction. The corridors echo quite a lot when someone walks down them and makes the place feel rather institutional and cold. Even installing carpet in the corridors would be a big help.

Good for a Couple of Nights

Stayed here for 4 nights to visit sports arena for european skating championships, this hotel is clean, quiet and the staff are very nice, there is a restaurant in the hotel, the food is ok but you wont find to many vegetables on the menu, breakfast is also available which consists of the normal cheese, cold meats etc that you would expect in europe. The sports arena is 3 stops on #2 tram and a ticket for tram is 16 crowns. Just about to check out of veronika, would stay here again with no hesitation.

Nice hotel

Calm, comfortable accomodation for one or just few nights in Ostrava. Helpfull personnel. Easy availability from the Main railway station by public transport. Delicious local cuisine in adjacent restaurant.
