Nice, clean and Cosy rooms! 
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Large choice for breakfast, possibility to have different egg-dishes.
Large choice of local and international dishes for lunch and/or dinner.

They stayed for two nights. They liked the location; the pension itself, located in an old German mansion. The mighty basement, which has a fireplace, a spacious bar stand, a dance floor. The beautiful and cozy interiors of the restaurant; a good open summer pitch. The proximity to the forest; the clean air. A thoughtful and kindly host. As a minor minus, you can note the slightly overpriced prices in the restaurant; for tall people, the beds are short. The noise from passing cars coming from the trail at night can prevent you from sleeping peacefully. But the atmosphere of the hotel compensates for all this with excess - here the spirit of altes gutes Deutschland flows.

A kind family hotel with the spirit of altes gutes Deutschland

The hotel is idyllically located between the Iser and Giant Mountains and has a very special charm. The rooms reflect the style of a building. A little Spartan but still cozy. The bathrooms have been recently renovated; the rooms, hallways and restaurant are also being renovated step by step. The house is family run, very friendly and German speaking staff. Highlighting is the excellent kitchen. Here everyone comes at his expense. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. Very recommended are the wild dishes and the typical dishes. Also the dining is very varied, egg dishes are fresh. For family breakfasts or the celebration there is a basement. This is a great place to celebrate. We have always enjoyed and enjoyed it all over again.

Rest Pur

We (8 persons + 1 dog) were in this accommodation for the second time in an extended weekend (2014 and 2016) and were very satisfied each time. The rooms are rustic and quite simple, but absolutely useful and above all clean. Our room had two minor flaws on arrival (towel holder in bathroom and night table lamp faulty), but these were unsolicited the next morning. WLAN is available throughout the house free of charge, parking spaces are available at the hotel. The staff is simply excellent: friendly, warm, attentive and always ready to help!

The hotel is very cozy! The rooms are decorated in a country house style, which makes it look very cozy. We also highly recommend the house restaurant. The food is super delicious and the portions are huge. The prices are unbeatable. The service is very fast and totally friendly. You feel welcome right away. The hotel is a little above and you have a wonderful view. We are happy to come back!

Highly recommended

Quite wide range of dishes with local flavour. Typical mountain restaurant with huge brick fireplace in the middle. We came for early dinner and liked the food as well as attentive service. A bit annoying was loud family table playing some games next to us. You can not pay by credit card. 

"Mountain Cotage"

Food was just delicious, nothing much to say (had two deer specialties). The only con was the icy way out (we were there during the winter). Modern hotel is stylized and restaurant is stylized into an old mountain hotel (which it actually is).
