From the warm welcome to goodbyes we had a lovely time at the Tavros. We were self catering but paid for the optional breakfast  three times which was excellent value. We had two apartments, a one bedroom and a studio apartment. Both were spotlessly clean. The studio had fabulous views of the pool area and distant hills  The grounds were well maintained and very colourful. The swimming pool area was excellent with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Most of all we had great service from the lovely manager and  staff

A lovely holiday

Tavros was a pleasant hotel. We had a clean, comfortable and spacious apartment with a balcony which had views to the sea and swimming pool. The hosts are very welcoming. Dora gave excellent recommendations of restaurants in Latching and Neo Chorio. We saw a huge variety of fish including needle fish while snorkelling at the beach she recommended.
We did a 10k hike at the nearby Adonis and Aphrodite trail which ended at Aphrodite’s bath

Pleasant stay

Nice small and quite hotel in the Neon Chorio village. Very friendly owners . Nice pool although myself prefer the nice beaches in the area. Good breakfast is offered. Excellent place to stay if you enjoy quietness and the best scenery in Cyprus.

Nice small hotel in a peaceful area

Excellent family run hotel in the quiet village of Neo Chorio. We have stayed in the village on four previous occasions however this was our first visit to the Tavros Hotel and we will be returning.  Extremely friendly and apartment cleaned daily. A good breakfast can be obtained as well.  Plenty of nearby dining options in nearby Latchi and Polis.  It’s very quiet and an ideal location to relax by the pool and enjoy the walks to the Akamas Peninsula, Latchi and Polis.  The hotel arranged our car hire from Paphos airport at a reasonable cost.  I would suggest that car hire is necessary. 

Wonderful small friendly hotel

We have stayed in or around Neo Chorio a number of times so we are used to the area.
This was the first time we have stopped the Tavros.
The room and the facilities were very clean 
All staff were friendly and helpful.
The owners Dora & Odysseus went out of their way to make us very welcome.
Odysseus helped me with the car hire company I had booked when I had trouble with the car this was particularly helpful when they expected me to drive back Paphos to pick up another car luckily I did not have to.
The room we had was big and airy and cleaned every day which was a bonus
The pool was excellent
The hotel is in a quiet area which suits us 
You would benefit having a car to explore the immediate area of Latchi and Polis

Warm Peaceful Location

It is worth going to this hotel because of the very beautiful natural views.
But keep in mind that the views open only from the apartments located on the first floor. Studios and apartments on the ground floor are not of great interest, since the premises have not been renovated for a long time, they have a very heavy smell, the smell of dampness is so heavy that clothes hung in the closet begin to smell of this dampness after a couple of hours.
I also want to warn you that the room booked by phone through the receptionist may be occupied when you arrive at the hotel and the manager will apologize and shrug, but will not provide you with an equivalent replacement ..... And your weekend will be ruined....

beautiful natural views, but bad service

Arrived at 1:30 am after flight was diverted due to medical emergency. Had notified Dora of delay and she arranged for milk, water, bread etc to be in our room. Received a warm welcome from Mr T despite the hour. Straight to bed which was comfortable and the air con was quiet and efficient. In the morning the view from our large private balcony was a wow! Sun loungers, parasol, table and chairs with pool and mountain view one way and sea/coast view the other way. Our rooms were cleaned well every day. Location was perfect for us. Very quiet. Pool large, clean with plenty of loungers and parasols. 5 to 10 min drive to Latchi's beaches and restaurants. Dora and Mr T were always willing to give advice on where to visit, eat etc. A car is essential and there is plenty of parking. The Tavros is family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Dora, Mr T. and Matthew. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Quiet location, perfection!

We booked this property following recommendation from a friend as a convenient one to explore the Akamas, Latchi and Polis area as well as further north towards Kato Pyrgos.  The property is very clean, indeed conveniently located and most importantly, felt literally like home.  

One of the best parts is the owner's advice for restaurants in the area either for dinner or lunch; follow them and can't go wrong!

I would gladly stay here again and would highly recommend it for a relaxing break in the area.

Perfect long weekend stay at a family run hotel that felt like home!

Stayed here for four nights as the first part of a three-centre holiday in Cyprus. The owners make you feel very welcome and go out if their way to help with recommendations and bookings for dinner. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, as are the common areas. The breakfasts are amazing. If you feel like bacon and eggs, it will be so. We felt sad leaving here, it’s such a perfect place to stay. Very highly recommended.

buffet breakfast very good and staff will provide reasonable changes. hotel can provide suggestions for trips and external services
