We stayed in the 5* / Private pool apartment (first floor).  It was a nice, clean space and had everything you needed.    The bed was comfortable, with good AC and shower/water pressure.     
The pool and outdoor area were nice, and we snorkeled right outside.   
The only issues, that prevented 5 stars from me were:   No Microwave, No TV, and the pool was used by stray dogs for their baths and had a lot of mosquitos, so not really usable.
Would I return - yes.  I'll check to make sure they have the microwave though.
Location - in the heart of Willemstad.


Very good stay; a few things to note

PM78 is in a great location for easy access to restaurants, shopping, exploring and museums. We felt completely safe walking the neighborhood after dark and the building itself had good security features. There are 5 or 6 apartments so do take note that the pool is private for the main floor apartment only. Be mindful when booking. We had a beautiful Ocean View Suite with a huge terrace. All the basics were there in the kitchenette and didn’t have any trouble cooking. Leon and Jan were most helpful with any questions we may have had and always got back to us in a timely fashion. I would really only have two suggestions for this location. 1) They have a fantastic welcoming book for all guests to tell you all you would need to know about the area and dining, laundry, tv operation and so many other things but there was no English version. I felt bad always having to contact Leon. 2) It would be nice if there was even a small love seat inside if watching TV so you don’t have to sit on the bed. Other than that everything was wonderful and would definitely rent here again. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic 7 nights at PM78 in the Urban Loft, plenty of space, bedroom kitchen living room and dressing room.Well appointed with Nespresso machine , and washing machine nearby. Leon responded to all our questions and issues promptly and effectively. Best of all the location in Pietermaii is superb. Access to literally dozens of restaurants, and an easy walk to Punda, Otrabanda and Scharloo, We even walked to Mambo Beach, 45min away.

Location Location 

My family and I stayed in the five star apartment for a week. From the minute you walk through the door your eyes are soothed with the incredible ocean view. We have done alot of traveling and I have to say this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. My husband is a chef and was extremely impressed with the facilities of the kitchen and the kids loved the pool. There was nothing not to love in this place. Location was amazing, close to great restaurants and after a day of exploring coming back to listen to the waves crashing against the rocks was the perfect end to the day. Leon from the start was amazing in answering all of our questions and was a great host. We will absolutely be back but until then I will keep these picture perfect images with me. Thank you for a wonderful stay PM78, you are a very special place❤️

Just incredible!

Leon was our host and took care of everything - he gave us even a short ride to the car rental agency! The location of the place is awesome: just at the seaside and you could even go snorkelling from there, which we didn’t try. We saw hummingbirds, dolphins and turtles at the breakfast from our terrace - amazing! :-) also, we did some fishing directly from the terrace and caught some fish for the BBQ. The direct neighbour is a bar / restaurant and they even served us cocktails to the fence! :-D

The flat is even better than described. There is a BBQ, dishwashing machine, a washing machine and lots of equipment you can use. 

Overall a great experience that I won’t ever forget! Thanks for everything, Leon!

Great location directly at the sea with a pleasant host!

We liked the place and Leon was very helpful : he answered quickly every question we had and gave us a very good address to take the covid test.
The apartment is nice but need some « refresh » in the shower and more plates and glasses in the kitchen.
We didn’t get any hot water in the kitchen nor in the bathroom. The shower was okay though.
This is a minor issue but considering the price asked per night, we don’t expect this kind of problem.

We are really enthusiastic about our 2-night stay in the appartment! The view is breathtaking, waking up and falling asleep with the ocean sounds is so relaxing! The appartment has everything you need and you are just a few minutes walking from the city centre, with many restaurants and shops. The host was very welcoming and was always reachable when needed! We will definitely recommend and come back to this place to get away for a few days or for a long-term holiday stay.

Romantic getaway

We first stayed at PM78 almost 6 years ago. At that time we stayed a week in the Junior Suite and a week at the 5* Apartment. My review was glowing. This time when we planned our trip, we had a look around to see if there was anything better to try out. In the end we couldn't find a better place to stay and booked the Ocean View Loft for 2 weeks.

As in my previous review, the location is stellar. You can walk to a ton of great restaurants. All your grocery shopping, eating and drinking needs are close by. The location is very safe, we never felt uncomfortable walking around at night.

The Ocean View Loft is a great room to rent. The balcony is huge and spacious overlooking the ocean. The sunsets every night were spectacular. The rest of the apartment is very spacious with a European design. The entire wall to the balcony is a sliding glass door that opens almost the entire width of the room. We had the wall open the entire 2 weeks we were there 24 hours a day, closing it only once during a storm. Being able to sleep with the sounds of the ocean was great. You are able to sleep this way and still be comfortable thanks to their unique air conditioning system. It only cools the air over the bed, not the entire room. We slept very comfortably with this system. I was surprised by how well it worked.

Cindy and David are great hosts. They are very attentive to your needs but will leave you be. They respond quickly to your questions or concerns. I have found dealing with them and their website very easy. Everything is open and clear on the site. The descriptions and photos accurately reflect what you are getting. The costs are detailed and known ahead of time.

Overall another great stay. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

As Good As The Last Time

I spent 5 days in the: city appartement, at the PM 78 location.
The location of the appartment is perfect to fully enjoy charming historical Pietermaai, Willemstad. On the other hand sundowner spots, restaurants and beaches are only a few steps away from the appartment.
The appartment is spacious for 2 people, is quiet and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
I will deffinately recommend this Curacao treasure to anyone.
