Apartments Capitano Blue

Spacious 2bed/2bath apartment with good air conditioning. Living room with kitchen and first bedroom both have exits to a very nice balcony with retractable owning, overlooking Zaton Bay, where we spent most of our time while home. Peaceful and quiet, only sounds are those of water and birds, yet just 15-20 min by public bus (the bus stop is a 2 min walk) or Uber ride (about 100 Kuna/$15 one way) to Old Town Dubrovnik.  Fantastic hosts! Niko picked us up from Dubrovnik Sea Port (Jet/catamaran is a good alternative to car drive from Split, avoiding border crossing) and Vesna surprised me with delicious home made desert for my Birthday! ;-) We were swimming right from the private pier/jetty and used their kayaks for a little cruising around the Bay and to several local beaches (most of the beaches in Croatia are pebble and water is crystal clear; bring your snorkels!;-)). There are several nice restaurants and a couple of grocery shops within a short and pleasant walk along the shore. And the hosts are more than happy to provide additional recommendations and organize special outings upon request.
We enjoyed a full day semi-private boat trip (15 people) to the Elaphite Islands with unlimited drinks and wine and freshly cooked lunch (all included in the price of a trip) with Niko’s brother Marco a lot. They picked us up and brought us back right to our pier, which was very convenient. Overall fantastic vacation! Highly recommended!
