Apartments Sarita

First, these apartments are located in Zaton, not Nin itself. Zaton is about two kilometers away from Nin. It's a two story building and our unit was on the top floor. The unit was one bedroom, with a large lounge and integral kitchen. There's a full bathroom (not ensuite) and second half bath next to the full bath. Our balcony had a sea view, which we hadn't expected. However, there's a vacant lot between this building and the sea so one of these days the view will vanish. The unit itself was relatively new and had reasonable fittings, although certainly not deluxe. Our biggest complaint was that the unit was very poorly equipped. Mimimal china and cutlery and lacking even basic amenities like a bottle opener or corkscrew. No pictures on the walls and the smallest televsion in the world, with only a few channels. We had to ask to borrow a hair dryer and a coffee maker and there was no kettle, electric or otherwise. The one cooking knife provided wouldn't cut butter and it certainly wouldn't cut bread. On balance, it was a good value, (we paid 165 euros for three nights through Booking.com) but don't plan on cooking any meals or even making a sandwich. If you want to drink a glass of wine on the balcony while the sun sets, which you can certainly do, make sure you buy a bottle with a screw top or bring your own corkscrew!
