Popular with German pensioners however unsuitable for families seeking sea and sun.  Although this is a seaside located camping, it only has one smaller cobble beach facing to the West + another tiny one.  Both are not very inspiring and lack the morning sun. One can also jump to water from the rocks but that is all = unsuitable for smaller kids. As the camping is located in an oak forest, it looks pleasant during the day, however during the night the ambiance is spoilt by high concrete poles with strong LED lights that illuminate the streets of the camping. In fact during the night we felt like camping in a town centre!  This is a superfluous bug. Thus there is only a limited number of darker spots in the camp. Also we felt there is too much asphalt and concrete in the camp. Provided you pitch your tent on the grass near the reception you would frequently be able to enjoy a nasty smell of the sewage cleaning facility.  All in all there is not much point of staying here except for when you come with a campervan and manage to book the few seaside pitches facing the Cres island. 

Not for kids; camping like in a town street

We stayed  in a "vila" - ought to be some kind of luxury - however which is completely over prized. Bad location next to major public bathroom and waste facilities. Our particular villa had a cistern right behind and it stinks a lot which made it impossible to sit on the veranda and it also came into the bed room. Management at the reception was dishonest and was unable to handle the case. We cancelled the stay after two days.

Bad vila and dishonest Management

Excellent equiped, friendly, top location. Swimming pool for choldren, animation program, place for boat, bakery, čekam place, clean see, best view on islan Cres. Fairy prices, not too loud. 1st choice for famoly with kids.

One of The Best camp in north adriatic sea

Nice camping, good restaurant, quiet during the night but:

- Every evening and night, our camping pitch smelled like if we were sleeping in the toilets. Don't choose pitch around pitch n°109
- Swimming pool far too small in regards with the size of the camping, thus overcrowded every day.
- Shop far too small, with only a few products
- People at the reception desk were nice except an older one who was almost unpleasant. We never saw him smile and each question seemed to bother him. I really don't understand why he is working at the reception desk...

Nice but:

Beautiful camp laid out in hard stand terraces right on the Adriatic coast near Krk.  Wide choice of different sized sites in full sun, part shade or full shade.  Very well managed.  2 reasonably modern amenities blocks, with frequent cleaning throughout the day.  Showers are a bit cramped, only 1 hook, and some shower hose fittings broken.  Poor free Wi-Fi but there is a fee for service one, also.  Infinity pool, 2 bars, a very good restaurant, beach swimming and aqua hire centre, all in a beautiful setting.  A great holiday camp for all the family, but mostly quiet enough for those without kids.  A 4 Star camp in a 5 Star location.

To put this review in context we had just left a lovely campsite in Istria (by a long rocky beach with large pitches which while full felt very uncrowded) which was the same price as Camping Glavotok.

Camping Glavotok has small, pokey pitches by a small rocky beach.  There were queues for the shower at peak times but we avoided these so not an issue. Showers / toilets were clean with paper & soap.  There is an infinity pool, which we didn’t use, and thought the restaurant was good (despite other reviews to the contrary). We had pizza,  cuttlefish risotto, chips, salad, a good bottle of wine, coke and 2 bottles of water which came to    €77.  The diving company is on the campsite which is a huge benefit (however we visited 2 other beach side campsites in Slovenia & Istria who also had on site diving so not sure how unusual this is). Went on day diving trip from the campsite which was great.

If I hadn’t visited Istria beforehand I’d have liked it more. 

Great location but very crowded

Last year we drove through Krk island in search for a villa for a family stay this year. We stumbled upon Glavotok and loved the idea of being at a place where the kids can go nuts without someone having to drive them around.
We loved the bungalow, which has everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. And the beach is 20 meters away, which is perfect! 
Recommend 100% to anyone traveling with children.

Great for a family stay

I don't mind paying good money for good value. But since this is the highest amount I have ever paid for a site, even not on any other "fancy" holiday campgrounds throughout Western and Northern Europe, I cannot leave this uncommented. We stayed on a so called VIP site, which turned out to be rather little and, furthermore, was not really easy to access with a 7,7 m Mobile Home (overlapping tree branches, steep gravel access). 
The site was nicely situated right in front of the sea, but that was almost all one could enjoy, in case one does not wish it to be tranquil as well. It's definitely a place for families with kids, and not for couples, who don't need to be entertained.
