This place ticks all the boxes. Great location. Oasis service station straight opposite has everything you need and well stocked. Short distance to airport and town centre. Our studio unit was fully equipped. Bbq and large deck area. Relaxing and the views breathless. Own little paradise in your front yard. Albie looked after the surrounding property and was great to talk to. His knowledge and humour on the local scene was very helpful. Tashi is always on hand via  communications during our stay. Helped us settle in and assisted us in getting us to the airport with all our luggage. Next level service. Absolutely recommend this place 😃 10/10 👍

Nikao Paradise 🏝

The 3 beach bungalows are very well-equipped.  I made breakfast and a few lunches in the kitchen of mine on a regular basis and I found all the utensils I needed were already there.  There is a free laundry facility on site, free kayaks and free snorkeling gear.  The hammock on the beach is a perfect place to while away a morning reading. The Oasis service station across the street is not only open 24 hours, but it is very well-stocked including cage-free eggs, hot foods and fresh vegetables for salads.  The best part is Tashi and her wonderful team who will bend over backwards should you need anything.  I would not hesitate to stay here again. 

Fantastic spot with everything you need

Fabulous location right on a very private beach. A petrol station and convenience store is directly opposite which is handy but it isn't far into town for the big supermarket and other shops.

My studio bungalow was clean, comfortable and spacious and had everything I needed for a beach holiday. Quiet, apart from the occasional airplane noise (not a big issue - it's not a busy airport). Nice furnishings and good value for the price. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, they keep the place spotless and well-maintained including sweeping the beach!

The kitchen has cooktop, microwave and fridge and all the standard kitchen accessories. The outside deck has sun loungers, table and chairs and a personal bbq. Beach is clean, a little bit shallow for swimming (a lot of coral) but good for using the provided kayak.

Relaxing at the beach

My husband and I stayed here in May of 2018. The owner, Albi, and his staff were so accommodating, and let us check in early as our overnight flight landed early in the morning. The location is gorgeous, with our bungalow facing the beautiful bright blue lagoon and surrounding reefs. There are only 3 bungalows, 2 studios and one 2 bedroom. We had a studio closer to the ocean.
The beach here is good for swimming, although you need to be cautious of the rocks and coral (water shoes are highly highly recommended). 
If you are staying here you aren't really walking distance from many places, so I would recommend renting a car or a scooter. We had a scooter for the week, and it was perfect for getting around the island. The 3 things within walking distance are the gas station across the street (basic groceries, drinks), the Rarotonga Brewery next door (great beer and kombucha), and Vainias (great local restaurant down the beach with live music a couple of nights per week). 
The bed was pretty comfortable, and little kitchen was all you need on vacation for cooking breakfast and the odd dinner (also a great grill on your lanai overlooking the water). Hot water takes a minute, as it is solar heated, but you will get some eventually!
I would definitely stay here again when visiting Raro.

Amazing bungalow stay!

Our stay at Nikao Beach Bungalows was all we had hoped for and more.  A well established, better maintained, clean, well located, comfortable and friendly accommodation.  We stayed in a King Studio for 12 nights.  One lasting memory is the genuineness of the resort. It is not "over the top" nor is it particularly wanting.  If you decide to book here you are not getting a "brand new" 2018 accommodation, but you are getting a taste of the "real McCoy" of the Cook Islands.  It is a family ran business that welcomes its guests as visitors rather than tourists.  It faces the beach and is a few steps away from the welcoming South Pacific.  A true South Pacific experience.

A genuine South Pacific holiday home.

I spent a week here by myself and wished I had stayed longer. I was in a beachfront studio which was very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. The location is very good, opposite the Oasis store, next to the brewery and a few minutes down the beach yo Vaianas beach bar. The huge deck had 2 solid sun loungers, a dining table send a bbq.  There was a washing machine on site but would have preferred my own clothes line or rack.

Unfortunately  I had little sleep for a few nights due to inconsiderate guests but this was dt with by Albie who us an asset to the property. I would definitley stay again

Beachfront Paradise

We stayed 5 nights here in the 2 bedroom bunglow. Except the first night- we got some little visitors(flying ants) which come only the ongoing rain overnight...(u just leave the lights on it will be fine.).no air con here, so during the day it can be really hot, so got beer from next door and ice cream/water from opposite 7/24 convenient store is good…but during the night it would be cool down and nice temp for sleep.
The kitchen facilities are good for own cooking breaky or meals, beach site is good, hammock under coconut tree provide a nice cool place for relax, also the water gear/ kayak is so good.
Tv connection no good..so relax ur eyes.
