La Candelita

We have stayed at La Candelita from 1/6/2014 through 1/12/2014 with a family of 4. We have been travelling along the Colombian coast staying in various cities and places, and let me tell you - this is BY FAR the most incredible stay we had on the colombian Caribbean coast. It is a perfect piece of paradise - almost no other tourists in the area, it's very quite. You can have your breakfast or dinner right on the beach on the sand, It has a private beach so you can swim with your family... Man it was awesome! Now, one of the best part, it's not just a hotel, it's a center for aqua sports, so they have everything you can think of. We did jetski, kayak, and yes, tried teh kite surfing first time in my life. Jose, the owner, is absolutely incredible. I've figured out the kite and the surfing and got to a point to almost standing up and going, but then we had to leave :( If you're looking for a true Colombian Caribbean paradise - this is it! In other places, you kind of staying among tons of people and garbage, etc. This is an idyllic tropic vacation. LOVED THIS PLACE !!!
