The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria)

We are a family of two parents and 3 adult sons. We were lucky to have stayed for 5 nights in el Morro/The Hill. The place offers a superb view on the Almejal beach with a remarkable low and high tide. Occasionally a whale can be spotted. The hotel itself feels a bit like a fantastic, elegant and colored pirate nest with different floors. In the main place personal hammocks are hung providing a fantastic view. The place is wide, neat and quiet (apart from the sound of waves!). From the main place a wooden corridor lingers to a remote deck that is ideal for sunsets. You can go up to a higher point or down to the beach. The rooms are spacious. We stayed in the west room - beautiful outlook as well, and the 3 boys in the East. Breakfast is nice and abundant - I enjoyed the cereal with fresh fruit and milk (the eggs, arepa or bread en jams would always be there as well). For dinner we went out to eat in the village. Monica was very kind and helped us out very well to get some tours arranged. We went out on two tours - seeing plenty of whales during both occasions. Both Monica and Jupi are fluent English speaking. Without doubt the better option on Playa Almejal - and no other place with a view that comes even near.
