Having stayed and reviewed this hotel six months ago I thought there might be changes and a slip in standards on my second visit, this wasn’t the case, everything pretty much the same. The hotel isn’t the busiest in the world so choices on the restaurant menus aren’t always available and western choices not the best. Rooms still very good, service generally good, cleanliness okay, ashtrays by the lifts could do with changing more regularly and western breakfast choices could be increased. The room rate is very reasonable for the standard of hotel but it’s location is quite isolated from the main centres of the city.

Second Visit

What an odd spot, huge hotel in Taizhou, lovely looking lobby, clean, spacious, a real
Wow feel as you enter. Rooms are large and clean, fancy Japanese washing toilet, big work area - all going well, until dinner.

Tuesday evening, 20:10, head to 3rd floor for Chinese food, sorry closed, please go
to 4th floor Japanese restaurant, arrive there to be asked to wait and see if they can serve us.

Food was great when it arrived, really good.

Decided to have a beer after dinner, head to lobby lounge just around 21:30, it’s closed!

Eat early!

Lovely hotel, just really quiet, eat early

I have eaten at this hotel before but never stayed there, two nights, virtually no complaints! The food in the restaurant was very good, clean spacious rooms, open airy lobby, friendly staff and overall a nice experience! The one and only down side was the breakfast, there seemed a lot of choice but no choice, dependant on your personal taste! Plenty of Chinese dishes and just a few western ones  but these were limited! The buffet is quite spread out so takes quite a while to asses the options!

Good Experience!

This hotel is new, room was a bit small compare to other 5 star hotels in China, there's no bathtub in my room; weak water pressure at shower, comfy bed, free WiFi, nice indoor pool and gym. OK breakfast, mediocre service.

Location is not very convenient, not much around, mostly office buildings and an exhibition center, there are some restaurants, a Starbucks, and a Pizza Hut within 10 min walk.
