Chances upon this hotel while searching for a place near the city area. Heard that this was previously a Citadines property. 

Best part about this hotel is that it’s new, modern and very well located to nearby malls such at wulin area and an underpass to the Kerry Centre. It’s also a 15-20mins walk to West Lake. At night, you can walk back from West Lake and pass through the Wulin night market for some casual shopping and also to the D11 food district to settle your local food cravings.

Getting to the metro is also really easy with <5mins walk.

Breakfast spread was good with few changes. It doesn’t have an egg station though but you can already request for fried eggs. Do try the noodles which are pretty good.

I love the room and the big bathtub was a pleasant surprise - bigger than 5* hotels tub! There’s also a really cosy lounge area to pass the time and do some reading before going off to the airport.

What I didn’t enjoy too much about was that I have to redo all the settings of my room whenever I go out for the day and I can’t put “do not disturb” on the door to prevent room cleaning. Not much of a problem, just didn’t need to have towels changed Everyday.

Modern hotel with great location

Hotel is locater right beside the train station, connected to lines 1 and 2. Of which 1 of the line is only 5 stops away from the Hangzhou East station. 

Hotel staffs are young but extremely helpful. They recommended us great local food and sights. 
They also helped to give suggestions onhow we can travel from point to point. 

The breakfast was good, with western and local options. 

Rooms were well kept and clean. Hotel is new and modern, quiet too although located right in the heart of a well known street. High tech automated controls of the curtains and lights.

Strong water pressure in the bathroom, enough heating and comfy beds.

Not far from the Xihu district.

I would definitely stay here again should I return for another visit.

Convieniently Near the Metro

Great service, rooms, people, location and cost.  I enjoyed my stay here while coming thru this wonderful city - Hangzhou, China, and seeing all there is to see in such a short time.  Everything was clean, the room really was nice, the staff was patient, accommodating and helped me in English!  I loved that the music played when I walked in, and the weather was perfect.  I really appreciated the size and design of the rooms and the staff and Manager CourageXu really was helpful.  There was light construction for the add ons but I literally heard nothing and barely noticed.  Also, I was at the cross-road for the location and the local and western cuisine was everywhere, to include Korean and Japanese cuisines...really wonderful.

Wonderf West Lake Location

The hotel is near to the metro station and is close proximity to west lake and shopping centre.  The staff is nice and the room is spacious and clean. Prepare to walk alot or cycle if you want to explore in depth of west lake. There are public transport available around West lake. 

West Lake visit - Hangzhou

We enjoyed the hotel’s artistic touch and good space vibes. Small main entrance. 15 mins walk to West Lake. Clean room with mood lighting with music. Only disappointment was the breakfast service. No seating. Selection is varied, but when we came down at 9am, many items are empty. When request for some top up of items, the service staff was reluctant. Breakfast is 7-10am. This happened on both breakfasts we ate. I agree that food should not be wasted but to be denied some items is disappointing
