Nice hotel, easily accessible, close to Jiefangbei (reachable on foot). Friendly front office. The room is quite small and the heater in aircon is not working well therefore the room is quite cold during winter season.

Small room with no lift to reach 4th floor

· The place had a modern look and vibe. Great location, right opposite Metro and easy walk around town. Rooms clean and comfortable. They had several suggestions of places to see etc on little strips of paper that you can tear off and take with you. Some not listed in guide books etc. Staff were friendly, some had better knowledge than others but they still tried to help (hopefully that will improve). A couple of them their English was fine.
 · A lot of construction work nearby (not the fault of the hotel) it Finished late and started early. We had breakfast included in our room price but breakfast didn’t start until 8am, so a little late if you are heading out. A little more description on website or a follow up email on how to find them as so convenient to metro but you walk up and down the street for a while to start with trying to find the place. 
Come out of the metro station and cross the road. The hostel is located in the parking area ahead.

I must say I liked the hotel very much, although there were some problems, but I really liked it. 

So the problems were:
1. The room is stylish, it can be seen that the old concrete house has been rebuilt. So, it was very cold. and AC didnt change it much. But on the third day, I think it started to get warmer. I must add, I am a very chilly person. My boyfrien felt hot :D but reception girl gave me an extra blanket
2. Killed 2 cocroaches
3. Wifi was not working properly or, at all

But overall these things didnt set us down. It is a hostel overall, not some fancy 5star hotel.

Hostel as hostel. Good Location

Some of the Staff spoke limited to no English.  They let us check in around 10 am, although official check-in was at 2pm. Private double room was bright, had a very big bed and huge ensuite bathroom. Mattress was very soft and shower was cold in the first morning. Spacious comfy common room, where you can order western and Chinese food and drinks. Chongqing noodles are good (9 yuan + 3 yuan for fried egg topping).  Using the  laundry machine costed 10 yuan. Entry is on the right front of the building. 

Average hostel 

Construction work going on around the hostel for the next few years, goes on into the night and starts early morning. There’s also no breakfast despite ordering it, you still have I pay for breakfast even if it says included.
