Days Hotel & Suites St Jack Resort

Hotel is located just outside the south entrance to the park/valley. New hotel with good standards on rooms and other facilities. Although it took some time to check-in, my confirmation e-mail price did not match the one in their system although I booked on daysinn.cn which they could not explain to me, it after a while got taken care of by a english speaking supervisor while we were waiting in the bar. My two friends and I each got free upgrades to scenic view room on the top floor (5F). Room size was adequate and had a bathroom with both shower and bathtub. Amenities such as toothbrush, shaving kit, etc was available in the bathroom. Rooms have wired internet for a fee and wireless internet is free of charge in the lobby. Pool area was ok with one normal pool and two hot spring pools, there was also a sauna. Gym, arcade game room etc looked nice although not utilized. Price level in the bar was what to expect and the breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary. We did not have any other meal in the hotel. Around the hotel at the time of visit is not much to see and do in the evening. There are a couple of local restaurants and a tea house and we had quite a good time with the locals incl the hotel staff. There are huge expansion plans so in late 2013 is will probably be quite different.
