Puerto Poema

We stayed in the loft with private bathroom for 3 nights. The street where this B&B is located has seen better days, but so does most of Valparaiso. The B&B itself looked bright and freshly renovated, compared with other buildings. Contrary to what you'd expect the loft is located in the lowest part of the building. From the main entrance, you go down the stairs, and that is the bottom level of the loft with some living space. Another staircase leads up to the second level, where there is a bedroom and a bathroom. The bottom level is spacious, but we haven't used it much. The bedroom is on a smaller side, and the bathroom is tiny. Overall, the furniture was ok. We didn't like the sheets as they were very slippery. Breakfast was pretty basic. The location is a bit away from main sights, probably about 20-30 minutes walk to most places. Also, it is located on a busy street and you can hear a lot of car noise. The owners were friendly and spoke some English. Overall, it's a reasonable place to stay for the money.
