Arrived shortly after check in time and everything was ready for us. Personnel at reception were helpful and friendly. 
Dinner was superb with an excellent service even though they were having a large function next door. 
Bed was way too firm, hard I would say.
Breakfast was very good and service at the same level as the previous night even though there was only two people waiting the whole room
Deco is a bit dated but it will depend on your tastes about wall paper if you like it or not

Excellent food and service, beds too firm

Arrived and girl on desk could not speak English. The room was 1950's style but needs upgrade. Drapes torn. Went down for supper and we soon as the waitress came over we were told that she could not speak English. The menu were in French only. Communication wasn't the greatest. Ordered beef fillet mignon med and received it raw. Fancy plate setup but good under par. This was a Groupon purchase with supper and breakfast included. The supper because we ordered the best there was a $20 extra charge then on the bill hand written was suggested to pay $15 tip. Breakfast was just like any breakfast place and nothing fancy. At $160 for one night it was not that pleasurable. We will never go back. There was still ice and slush on the walkway enterance. A pillow but of manpower goes a long way. They are there for your money so save it and find something nice elsewhere.

Not worth it

We spent 2 nights, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast cost $480.  I felt like I was back in the 80's, carpet all over the place, need to be renovated. Dinner was good, wine list over price, breakfast no choices, only 3, service was terrible and the food was average.

Disapointed need upgrade and love

Worn out rooms with old, uncomfortable beds + bedsheets & TV didn't even work in our room. The hotel has a "cheap in everything impression". It was probably awsome 10 years ago but one walk from the main office to your room will prove otherwise. They put cold white light spiral bulbs in the room's main lighting fixtures which gives it an office-like impression rather than a warm feeling. The halls are not heated in the winter & the overall decoration has a lot of elements which don't fit together. Ex: The old colonial Quebec rural scene that the hotel orinially had does not fit with the asian influences that the owners are trying to bring. They even do the same in the restaurant menu which features "french" inspiration "fusioned" with asian cuisine. Basically, your menu is a mix that could work if properyly executed but fails to fit together due to lack of attention to important details. Do one or the other but at least do it properly. They try to give so much but fail in the most important details. They put big plates with a lot of decorations in the plates to give it the "wow factor" but the overall food lack freshness or proper cooking techniques (fried calamari were store bought, the fish & chips was tilapia fried in old tasting cooking oil). What I found gross were the little sauce drips that decorate the plate around your appetizer were like dried up ketchup that has been left in a plate for a few days - not fresh... Like I said, they try to do so much that they fail to master even the basics. Overall, I think that the owners should re-evaluate what they offer (they should do less) and focus on the quality of what they do chose to offer. Oh and by the way, the "Do no disturb" signs that you put on your outside doornob are not respected by one of your cleaning ladies... She just walked in while me and my girl were taking a nap and left once she noticed we were there, never appologising for disrupting. Honestly, I would rather sleep in my car and have take-out food than going there again.

Disapointment ahead!

First I would say the venue for the wedding dance was very nice and the food excellent, but the rooms are in desperate need of repair, rugs dirty, things broken in room. One of our guest didn't have a bathrobe in her room asked for one and didn't get it, then when she left they told us that we had to pay 100$ because the Robe was gone, crooked. So beware of things like this, room service didn't clean very well either
