Chalets de la Riviere Sacacomie

What a lovely spot. Right on the river, the sound of the rushing water is soothing and the chalets are nestled on the banks on a beautifully curated property. The chalets are completely outfitted -grill, washer/dryer, kitchen and sleeping loft. An inside pool and pool table. WOW. Great choice for a getaway.

We have been twice this year. Winter getaway in the "Pic Bois" and then again this summer in the "Petit refuge". Wonderful. 

The cottages are fully equipped and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more.

The Petit refuge is only available in the summer months.

This is a peaceful chalet. Each one is set within its own grounds so you are undisturbed and the place itself is a long way from any made-up roads. The Chalet is quaint yet well equipped and spacious. You can be cut off from the world yet still keep in touch with TV and free wifi. The bedroom is reached by a spiral staircase and has a bathtub. The other toilet amenities are downstairs however, a little inconvenient in the night.
Outside you have your own picnic and other tables and a log fire to warm you in the evenings (bring your own firelighters).
The town, about ten minutes away had a very good supermarket behind the petrol station. 
There are three Chalets - the rest of the p,ace is a B&B.
