La Mount Chardonnay Bed and Breakfast

Just finished our stay at La Mount Chardonnay! This was an overall amazing experience! The room was immaculate in every way! My boyfriend and I booked in for 2 nights and were treated like kings the whole time. Beautiful home to use as your own for your stay, amazing views and a wonderful deck and hot tub. Since we stayed for 2 nights we received specialized bathrobes from Jodie with our initials sewed in! Very impressing! Jodie is a wonderful hostess, very accommodating! Chef Carl comes in the mornings to prepare an outstanding 4 course breakfast! We had the first breakfast on the deck and the second morning we had it set up in the pergola since the weather was so nice. The breakfast is about an hour long and absolutely delicious! To add to this wonderful stay our room had a 60" hi def tv with an entire Walkin closest full of DVDs to choose from. We will definitely be back soon! Jodie's b&b is fairly new and I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I can not say enough how happy I was with our stay at La Mount Chardonnay. We live in Kelowna, but this was like a vacation near home! We celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary and I can not have asked for a better place to be. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves, with kitchen and sitting room and balcony. We had use of a hot tub with the view of the setting sun as our back drop. The room itself was amazing! The bed large, comfortable and all the comforts you could want! The Host Jodie was attentive and made us feel instantly welcome and at home. The décor was fabulous and we wanted for nothing. Then after a wonderful night, came an amazing 4 course breakfast with Chef Carl. The food perfect, tailored to allergies and was wonderful. Whether you are from Kelowna, or just visiting, you should stop by and see for yourself how amazing this little hidden gem is. Jodie also said she would be willing to provide dinners if wanted, and had we stayed more then the one night I would definitely take her up on that. I know where I will go for my next night out..;)

We recently stayed at La Mount Chardonnay B+B and we also had a 5 * experience. As previously said in the other reviews, the property is beautiful, the view from the deck is superb and the level of service couldn't have been better.  Our 4 course gourmet breakfasts done by Chef Carl were superb. He makes EVERYTHING from scratch. We suggested cutting down the portion sizes as they were huge. Nothing is better on a trip than an impromptu, wonderful experience. We were visiting the Okanagan for a week celebrating our 40th anniversary. While chatting with Chef Carl on morning at breakfas, I joking said to him and Jodie, the wonderful owner, that we would like to come over to Chef Carls house for an anniversary dinner. After a couple of looks back and forth, Jodie suggested that they could do that there!! The next day they made it happen. We had a  fabulous gourmet dinner that rivalled a fine restaurant, made fresh just for us right before our eyes. Jodie even bought us a dozen roses to add to the ambience. This certainly will be an extremely wonderful memory from a great vacation that we will have for a long time. I should also mention that this was done at an extremely fair cost.  
We highly recommend this property for travelers who enjoy and appreciate quality.

As we pulled into the drive, our hostess, Jodie came out to the car to greet us. She led us to the balcony overlooking the panoramic view of Kelowna and Okanagan Lake. She offered us a refreshment, which we gratefully accepted. She handed my husband a wine list and he made his selection. She brought out the complimentary bottle for him to enjoy over the weekend. In addition to the wine, she served us a lovely appetizer plate. Next she showed us around the property. Our room was beautifully appointed with a king size four poster bed, 70" flat screen TV, DVD player, soaker tub, two person shower, bidet, and walk in closet. The view was the same majestic view we enjoyed on the balcony. The whole top floor, inspired by Italian decor, was ours  to enjoy, which included a full kitchen, fireplace and extensive DVD selection. Jodie pointed out a variety of complimentary refreshments for us to enjoy. Outside on the main floor was a hot tub we delighted in as well. Back in our room I noticed two large, gold wrapped packages and a  card thanking us for choosing La Mount Chardonnay B&B. Inside each package was a personalized monogrammed terry robe and slippers. Wow! Ours to take home with us! After an amazing, restful sleep in our super comfortable bed we were treated to a delicious four course gourmet breakfast. As we are dietary restrictions, Jodie took care to ensure we had a fabulous selection to choose from that was delicious and still met our needs. While out exploring our GPS broke down, so Jodie offered the use of hers while we were in town. All in all an outstanding experience and we cannot wait to return.

This new B&B in Kelowna, BC has to be experienced to be believed.  Our visit was one pleasant surprise after another.  Its location was the first surprise.  It was easy to find and convenient to the airport and the two major routes through town.  We entered a quite residential neighborhood and went to the top of a hill and into a cul dec sac where we encountered a large, beautiful home with a commanding view of the valley below.  Our host, Jodie Grinder, a very pleasant young woman, greeted us and showed us around.  The entire main floor of the house is dedicated to the two large guest bedrooms, both with windows running the length of the room and looking out over Ponderosa pines, vineyards and fruit orchards rolling down to Lake Okanagan in the distance. A more relaxing view could not be imagined.  The bedrooms have the sole use of a large, fully equipped kitchen, another surprise. For our next surprise, Jodie accompanied us to the outdoor deck and offered us a welcome gift of a bottle of local wine and a small snack.  We then wanted to get some exercise and discovered that the B&B is adjacent to lovely walking paths, another surprise.  We spent a very comfortable night in the wonderful four poster bed.  Then, the last surprise, the next morning at the breakfast hour we had chosen the day before, we were greeted in the kitchen by Jodie in "uniform" and a chef in full regalia.  We were offered our choice of dining inside or out.  We were given a breakfast menu that included delicious Native Indian breads and a breakfast pizza, among other choices. In short, it was incredible.  It is worth a trip to Kelowna just to stay at La Mount Chardonnay.
