During the holidays me and my girlfriend decided to go do some skidoo riding up north in St-Donat but just as we were leaving the city, a snow storm started coming down and we had to stop around Val David. So we did the usual look it up on our iPhone and the Chalet Beaumont had a simple but clean and cozy private room for us within minutes! We got there and they were really nice people at the reception, the room was just as described. 
I would go back to this beautiful log chalet anytime!

This was both a massive surprise and an ideal spot to be based.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - if you want home cooking and a really fab atmosphere this is the place for you

Great Find

The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of fridge space. Great way to meet other travellers. We saw the sunrise over the mountains from our room. Rooms rates very reasonable at 65$ and then 60$ as we loved it so much we stayed another night (so 125€ equivalent  of £90 if you add in the tax).  Only minor disappointment was the log fires (promised in the gudie book) werent burning which would have been perfect - given the 1st day it was cold and raining).  Take the opportunity to do the canoe/ bike option - can be hired from town and discount if staying in the Chalet - its fantastic..Also visit Mount Tremblant and go to the lake where you can watch the sun go down over the water....absolutely fab 

A litle gem...By home cooking he means 'own cooking' but I liked the idea...

We had a great time at this guesthouse. The location and setting was ideal. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend. Thanks again for the great stay!
