Lovely room, robes and lots of towels, hot tub, spa. Fabulous breakfast.

We had a lovely stay.  The walk into town was short and the town was cute.  Breakfast was fantastic!

Enjoyed our stay, close to dining and sights especially Fort Chambly and historic canal. Nice drives along the Riecheliu river north. Would expect it would be much busier during summer rather than December. Staff was welcoming, informative and breakfasts filling and very good.

Our overall experience was good. The staff was very inviting and made us feel comfortable. The room was clean and charming with vintage furniture and a nice clawfoot tub right beside the bed. We couldn't stay for breakfast so unfortunately we aren't able to comment on the food, but the dining room looked cozy and clean and the menu was appetizing.

Let me give you a tip: If you want to have a nice day, don’t try to shave while your wife is in the shower. My wife did not appreciate the sudden splash of cold water.

The bathroom was poorly lite, and the only outlet appeared to be on the underside of the 1940’s style light bar above the sink. I saw no GFCI reset in the room so I wonder if it was on a GFCI circuit.

The hair dryer popped, sparked, and smoked when I turned it on. That can happen. They all die sometime. I saw the husband and asked if I could get another and he said he would have to check with his wife when she woke up. He did bring us one about 15 minutes later.

Good luck finding a place to recharge a phone. We could only find one open outlet in a dusty corner behind the nightstand. Speaking of dust, the room could have been cleaner.

Breakfast was simple, with canned fruit and the thinnest omelet I can ever remember. 

We wanted to get an early start so I took our bags down to the car about 7:40 am. The front door was locked with a deadbolt which required a key. I had to go back up the rather steep steps to get our room key which had a front door key on the ring. Imagine rushing down the stairs in an emergency and finding that you can’t exit because you failed to bring your room key.

I question if that type of deadbolt even meets fire code.

I knew the reviews weren’t very good, but I figured it couldn’t be that bad, and it was only for only one night.

It was that bad.

I give it a 1, because zero is not an option.
