The drive down to resort is a tad bumpy and the sheer drops for the passenger are a little 😱but the views are well worth it!
We were there in the fall so apart from a few long term stay RV’s we basically at the whole park to ourselves and wow!
The bald eagles, the seals, the Mountain View’s , the sunsets and sunrise and the huge fire pit ( logs were free a lovely touch!) where we ate our steak dinner we cooked in RV , watching the stars in the clear sky…. Strongly recommend

Well worth the bumpy drive down

There’s an upper and a lower section for RV hook-ups, all on flat concrete pads with picnic table. Some campsites and “glamping” rental. The dockside restaurant pub is excellent. We appreciated the super clean facilities (maybe a bit more counter space in washroom/shower could be handy)  and the shared full sized freezer on the upper RV area for storing ice and fish.

What a surprise in the accommodations, the location and the friendly staff! Ocean front cabin with every comfort of home in clouding a garlic press! Bring your clothes, food, and booze and all is good! Additional highlight was the WORLDS Best Clamchowder at the floating restaurant

Extraordinary comfort and beautiful location!

This Resort has absolutely everything!!! Polite, friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate and  clean , roomy cabins with views to die for!!!… Our stay was very quiet and peaceful.
You can watch the Cruise ships up close travel up the Narrows.

Our New “ Happy Place”

Staying at Brown's Bay was my favorite stay not only while touring around Vancouver Island, but probably my favorite lodging of any vacation!  First of all, the staff (Taylor!) were all amazing and helpful and friendly. The people around the marina were also friendly and it felt like a community. The restaurant was very good with very nice staff as well.  We had reserved the floating suite and while I admit to being a little nervous about that at first, it turned out to be so special and amazing. There was a very gentle swaying at times, but it was not constant - it was all good. I slept like a baby. The suite itself was spacious, sparkling clean, and extremely well appointed with everything you could need. The balcony was the true gem. I really would have been happy to sit there for our entire stay. There was usually something interesting and wonderful to see -- like orcas and cruise ships passing by -- but there was also a lot of just peace and quiet and beautiful scenery.  It was a perfect blend of adventure and calmness, with the convenience of a restaurant next door, and I really did not want to leave. We loved everything about this place and I would return to the island, if possible, just to stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Brown' Bay Resort in one of their cabins,  It was amazing!  The cabin is very well done and has everything you would need.  We especially liked the loft.  The cabin was very clean.  The staff we met, Julia, Susan, Ren and the ladies who cleaned the cabins were all very friendly and helpful.  We appreciated Julia's attention to detail regarding our reservation.
I highly recommend this resort.
We have already booked for  a return trip!

Fantastic Place

We've never never heard about this resort before but it was definitely amazing. We stayed five nights in the Wolf cabin right in the bay and the second night we stayed there we watched a humpback whale swim right past the bay as we were eating supper. Every day we saw some form of sea life, such as sea lions, harbor seals, orca's and humpbacks.  We also checked out the fisherman's loop a natural hike in the lush rainforest, just beautiful. The games room/clubhouse was awesome and the hot tub also amazing.  Both of our cabins had a view out to the bay, with beautiful and stunning views, they were impeccably clean and bright and uniquely decorated to the names of the cabins.  The only thing we were disappointed about was the fact there was no restaurant open but I guess they had to close it for the season.  Highly recommend this site for a family vacation!

Fantabulous! We loved everything about it!

Last minute reservation with a travel van. The road in is long 5 km of teeth-rattling gravel) and dark (logging road) so if coming after dark, watch for signss that say how one to go. Nobody at office after arrival so attempted (several times) to figure my way around the the. ‘Fishing pier’ site.   It was a little dicey to get into with a large van,  UTC modern, clean washrooms are a stones’ throw away. Very very quiet at night, occasionally foggy.  If RVing please note that the serviced sites I saw seemed packed in side by side like sardines.  I had a lovely one night stay and awoke to views of the channel and surrounding hills.

Big shout out to Brent & Esther owner/operator  of Brown's Bay and to all staff.  Been a year since we have visited with our daughter and son in law. Appreciate the hard work and efforts to great a safe, clean and fun place for a mini reunion. Whales every day..added bonus.

Despite Covid19 and an ever changing ideology on how to deal with it, Brent, Esther and the staff of Brown's Bay Resort have done an amazing job keeping the staff, the residents and the visitors safe and protected. Although a very strange season, a very successful one due to protocols put in place and strictly adhered to.
This resort is top notch in all categories under normal circumstances. Whether it is the accommodations, the floating restaurant, the marina or the spectacular scenery, it is hard to beat.
Kudos to the management team of Brown's Bay Resort for delivering a safe, comfortable and relaxing experience for all of your guests. As a guest my wife and I certainly appreciate the additional effort you have gone to, to keep us all safe.
