We spend here 5 days. Had a good room next to swimming pool. Good vibes, good music :) staff was good for us especially Pisey. He was funny and were playing biljard with us also 💪🏼🤙🏼 for overall id say this is good place to stay for time at Siem Riep 🤙🏼

Very nice

Stayed here as a budget option because reviews has been good. Used to be called Motherhome Guesthouse and has changed hands. The people who run it are nice enough, but by just paying an extra 5USD more a night the standard of accommodation you can get is so much higher.
The location is great and the rooms are an excellent size with huge wardrobes. However, the main purpose of any accommodation is to get a good nights sleep and this will be challenging here as the old plumbing is just so noisy. It is as if somebody is banging on the pipes all night. .Also the standard of cleaning was poor. The shower head needed urgent replacement and when we returned from the temples at 4.00 pm our room had not been cleaned and the toiletries had not been replaced. All in all it's about getting the basics right here. We moved to somewhere slightly more expensive and honestly as I've said before the standard was that much higher.

Budget price but still not great value

As their slogan says "At MotherHome you are genuinely cared for". I would really attest to that as we really felt so cared for during our stay. Most of the hotels are fully booked already due to the holiday season so we made last minute booking here, and I'm glad we did.

The room & amenities: Nothing fancy but it has basic amenities, inclusive of wifi. There was problem with our aircon on the night we arrived, but they immediately fixed it. Our room was on the ground floor and I can't remember hearing loud noises at night as my sleep was so peaceful during our stay. Breakfast was also inclusive and I'd say, it's pretty decent given that this is a budget stay.

The location: It's not close to the main road so I think it's one of the reasons why it's quite at night. There are no nearby convenience stores but you can always walk a bit and you will be able to find food stalls. Just be careful at night as the alleys don't have much lamp posts so it's a bit dark. You can also hire TukTuk and they can pick you up from the guesthouse.

The service: I think their service is really the reason why a lot of people go here. Their staff are really friendly and helpful. Some of them may struggle to speak English, but they will really try to attend to your needs. Our schedule was a bit tight and we had to check out early and go on a tour. They allowed us to leave our luggage at no extra charge. 

We were scheduled to take the night bus en route to Phnom Penh but we came back a bit early as it was too hot outside. We asked the staff if there's any available room that we can take for us to rest while we're waiting for our bus to Phom Penh. Unfortunately, they were fully booked already but the staff told us that we can stay in the lobby. Few minutes after, their staff came back with hot towel and tea. They also told us that there's a shower room at the back that we can use if we want to freshen up. How good can that be?

It was a pleasant experience overall and I would recommend this place to anyone hunting for guesthouse.

Hospitality at its finest!

The motherhome is a great óption in  siam  reap. The hotel is clean and tidy,  the food is great and it has a wonderful pool.  I definitely recomend it. I also arranged the angkor tours from the hotel and it worked ver y well

Good option

A budget stay in Siem Reap, Basic amenities available. Swimming Pool. Neat and Clean Air conditioned rooms. Owner is involved so every thing is taken care by. Its located near the market so you can enjoy shopping too.

A budget stay

The Hotel Staff show extreme Hospitality and assist us when ever we ask for any kind of help. My elderly relatives faced some problems with Visa while coming back to Singapore at the airport and had to go back to Hotel to stay for one more day. The Hotel Staff (Kongkea) helped a lot in extending their stay at almost the same price and went out of his normal routine work and took personal interest in assisting by elderly relatives get Boarding Pass Printouts and made sure they feel comfortable. I can never forget this help for this gentlemen.
Apart from this, the Hotel in clean and sufficient to stay for 3-4 days easily. Hotel staff will also arrange for Tuk Tuk or Taxi, if you ask for their assistance. We took Tuk Tuk at a nominal price of 15USD for each day trip with Hotel staff assistance.
Hotel staff even arranged packed free breakfast (by understanding our requirements of completely vegetarian food) for us as we wanted to leave early to Angkor wat to see the Sun rise.
Wifi connectivity is good. Free Break fast every day, They did provide us with a electric kettle in the room for us to have coffee or tea anytime we want, A welcome drink as soon as you enter the Hotel, Free Airport Pickup (no free airport drop), Wetted Mint Clothing to refresh yourself when ever you come in from Hot sun outside. We had even asked for extra bed (thru agoda.com) for couple of nights which they had arranged at a cost of 10 USD, Good communication thru email once you book the Hotel for confirmation. Around 1.2 Kms from City Centre (Night Market) so it is not noisy here, Provisional Stores available just next door to purchase milk, yogurt, coconut water, fruits, chocolates, biscuits etc...
Overall a good experience for 20 USD + 10 USD (for extra bed)
You may also use massage and Spa here, but we never opted for it.
Note : There is no scenic beauty that you can see from Hotel. No Lift and No elevators. Only Stairways.

Hospitality and Help at its very best

Room was clean and neat,   ok value for 35$ a night through booking,  was disappointed it said it had a pool when really it is located 10min Tuk Tuk away at motherhome inn. overall a ok stay with very helpful staff who did a great job to make our stay comfortable.
