Casa Azul Hostel

The Hostel is located in the most vibrating neighbourhood in town, with tons of cool bars to hang out, and a nice bar on the ground floor. The facilities are cleaned and the staff very helpful. The boys bathroom is great, but the girls isn't that much - nothing bad anyways. The new kitchen/living area provides anything you need for your stay.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a great time. The staff are really nice and relaxed. The bar downstairs was packed every night and had a great atmosphere. They also had a great upstairs seating area. My only negative was that the kitchen was very old and the stove hardly worked. Other than that it was a great hostel and I would recommend it. The location is also amazing! X

Good hostel 

Great Stay in Porto Alegre

Honestly, I can only talk about the bar located in this hostel. We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Interesting, laid back environment, cool music, even one of the hostel beds as part of the decor. Good drinks and finger-foods - go with the low cost beer promotions. The more upscale drinks are not worth it - the sangria was a big disappointment to me. I only asked guests about the lodging there, and did not hear good things - but I did not check it out for myself. Great location, though. 

Good place for a drink. 

15 min to walk to city centre, in an area with restaurants and big supermarket. Staff could have been more friendly, didn't speak english that well (we had just arrived& hardly spoke portugues). Roof terrace was fine, kitchen& bathroom were okay, lady's bathroom misses a better ventilation in my opinion. We had a double room (a bit dark, like the lounge), with air condition& fan, quite loud in the first night because it points to the courtyard. A grid in the window against mosquitoes would have been great.

Reception with friendly personal. Situated in Cidade Baxia the nocturne district in Porto alegre. The rooms are comfort and wide. If you want the silence you get it in your room and if you want making friend it is possible in the bar down.
I recommend it.
