good breakfast, room clean and without village noise

quiet pousada close to the beach

We had nice time on ilha grande:)We would propably come back there:)

I went in Ilha Grande for two days this month, the posada is very nice, clean and with very kind people at The reception. But, The best is The home Made breakfast with tropical fruit, home Made marmelade, biscuits, cakes, eggs etc. The only thing i think The posada needs is a bigger room toilet.

The room had a great sea view. The people here were helpful. However, the pousada really needs to be renovated/cleaned. Even if we are not in a 4 stars hotel, there is a minimum to be done. Our room was not very cleaned. The air conditioning was really noisy. The quality of the bed was bad. I would not recommend this pousada because we paid a high price for something that does not deserve it.

Good view, good people but needs to be renovated

We checked into The hostel and were immediately captivated by it's down to earthness, The proximity to The Beach in Abraão and The friendly host, Edson. When we lost The key to The room later that Night and weren't able to get back in to The club where it was He set heaven and earth motion to help us get it back and was super cool about it even though we woke him up in The Middle of The Night. In our darkest hour he even moved up some mattresses for us so we could sleep on Them and tried like a thousand different spare Keys for our room to help us. Fortunately we got The key and he was still super cool. Even if this hostel wasn't the cozy little Pearl with excellent breakfeast that it is, it would still be worth going here just to Meet Edson. He speaks portuguese, spanish and english (even though he insists he is terrible at it)! Worth a visit! 

Lovely hostel with nearly superhuman service

We stayed in room Nr 3 (ocean view) and it was great. The room had a wonderful balcony with two chairs and a table and a great ocean view. The Small room had a nice dubbel  bed, refrigerator, AC, fan, shelves for storage and the bath room was nice and clean with a shower.  Breakfast buffe was included and you had scrambled eggs, bread, ham, cc
Included and had cheese, fruits, juices, coffee/tea, cakes, breads. The staff was attentive, glad and helpful. Their english was poorly but with help by Google translate and bode language you manage to make your self understood. If you know a little Spanish it helps! 
If I come back to Ilha grande I would stay here again because of it's location (50m from the beach and 5 min walk to the town Abrao, the staff and service. I love Ilha Grande and I wouldn't had that great experienceof of my time on the Island if it wasn't for staff, location and the views and atmosphere of this specific Pusada. They care of you and they care about the Pusada.

Great Pusada / good value for money /I will definitely stay here again!

The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the place had a very chilled and warm feel about it which was perfect. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the beach. The location is good at the calmer end of the beach and just set back from it. I would definitely stay here again.
