We had a great stay at Indigo Belize. Very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend staying here because it is away from the crowded areas. The staff is top notch. Manuel was very helpful and booking services which helped planning go much smoother. The unit we stayed was perfect from the reclining couches to the 3 bedrooms where 2 had a king size bed and 4 single beds in the other for our 3 kids (1 being a boy). Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms had plenty of towels, and the kitchen stocked with kitchenware. The porch was nice to sit out on at any part of the day. I will say while we were there most of the time it was windy, a couple of the nights the wind was howling through the cracks of the door just enough to be heard over the A/C unit. We were still able to sleep though. My son in law tried to use the paddle board but fighting the wind was a losing battle and he gave up. The reef is not far in a kayak if the wind wasn’t blowing. Around the pier the water is not the pretty green/blue as it is further out, a little brown with a lot of sea grass. Secret Beach though is about a 15 min golf cart ride and is very calm with clear water.  Thanks Indigo Belize for taking good care of us while visiting!

Beautiful Beach Home Away from the Madness of Many Tourist

Beware of this place! I'm serious, they're absolutely ridiculous with there charges and they will find a way to keep as much as your deposit as possible! We stayed for 8 nights, cleaned just about every day with what we had. White towels, white sheets, white bathroom mats and apparently they couldn't clean then. Now, in our defense this island is dirty when traveling around all day in your golf cart. I love AC and not complaining what so ever but really? Indigo, I don't know of any other place that does this on the island and keeps like half of the 350.00 deposit. Never will I ever recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful place BUT watch what you sign for when you check in!

I too am sad to leave a negative review as the accommodations and grounds were lovely. The incidental charges for toilet paper, dishwashing machine soap, paper towels may be normal but how does barely 2 rolls of TP get  you through 12 days! Our golf cart was dreadful, broken windshield, no brake lights, brakes didn’t work, no horn, constant backfiring. We were promised the windshield would be fixed but never was. We got charged for a towel ($55) that we supposedly stained.  Though a lovely place I would not return and tell others to be wary if you choose Indigo.

I’m so sad to leave a negative review because we really did enjoy our visit to San Pedro. This was not our first time to San Pedro Belize -  we have been coming to visit for almost 20 years now and as always, we can’t wait to come back. I have stayed in many different houses and condos over the last 20 years and many of them I will stay at again. I will not be returning to Indigo Condos because they kept $250 of our deposit to pay for the broken glass in a badly designed door. I’m not sure how I am responsible for the 10-20 knot wind that day that caused the door to fly open and smash the glass while we were sitting out on the deck. The door was shut (can’t bolt it while we are outside ) and the outside stopper was down but the door still opened and the glass shattered. Maintenance was there immediately to fix and they and other residence of the condo told us it happened 6 times in the last few months. We were told it was a bad design and all the glass was eventually being replaced with tempered shatterproof glass. I guess they just wait for a windy day and a new guest to pay $250 for the next window to be replaced. Be aware of what you sign at check in. There may be a tropical storm that does damage to the roof and you might be responsible for that too.

Goodbye Deposit

We had a wonderful week at Indigo Belize. Beautiful condo on the third floor with a wonderful view of the ocean.  The condo was well appointed, spotless, and spacious. Other residents were really friendly and good occasional company.  Pool was warm and very clean. Beach was also very clean and enjoyable to spend time on. 

Staff were excellent - can't say enough about Aisha and Ernesto. From the moment we started communicating via email we found them to be excellent in all respects. And while on vacation, they responded immediately to our needs. For example, one evening the AC unit gave out. Immediately Ernesto and the maintenance crew responded - late in the evening - and sought to correct the problem. When it was evident some parts were needed, Ernesto offered alternate accommodations. We declined since we were ok with the warmth, but he delivered additional fans for our comfort. 

A great location and terrific staff.
