Lestacion

The reviews are spot on. My wife and I, along with our two young children, spent an evening at the B&B, which is situated minutes from Bruge. Not only are Cecile and her family friendly - and the breakfast remarkable! - but their warm home is perfect for both adults and children. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Cecile, who spent time with us in their living room, telling us about the history of the house. We had an enjoyable conversation over drinks followed by fresh oysters from Holland. We felt part of their family having met them just an hour earlier! Before sunset, our kids enjoyed watching the chickens and playing on the trampoline outside. The 100 year old plus old house is eclectic; not your typical sterile B&B. The place doesn’t just have a lot of charm, but is self sufficient and eco-friendly with clay paint, solar panels and a garden. I can’t recommend Lestacion enough. We will come back and use the place as a base to explore the region.
