My family and I stayed here while trying to find a more permanent residence. Little did we know it would take 4 months, but we loved every second of it. The owners are wonderful people who will ensure you’re fully accommodated. This  place is very pleasant, peaceful and comfortable. My 3 children - 7 yr, 9 yr, and 12 yr  olds - loved going to the family’s milking farm. The owners would encourage the visits and teach them how to feed the new born calves.  This was such an amazing experience for us, and the memories we created here will be with us forever.

New Job at SHAPE

I stayed here for a longer than average period of time, and was most at home. The facilities were perfect and quality was superb. The bed was the best! 
Ingrid & Ton and family were the most wonderful hosts and so attentive to any needs you may have, although they have thought of everything! 
And although it's set in a quiet peaceful countryside location, it is only 10 mins by car to Mons City where you will find plentiful great restaurants.
A welcoming family who love to meet people from all walks of life, thus making your stay the most enjoyable. This became my home away from home. Totally recommend the Farm. And yes, as it's a farm, the cows moo from time to time, they just want to play their part in welcoming you too. Enjoy a stay here.

Best Bed Around

Four of us visited Ton and Ingrid's wonderful farm in Ghlin outside Mons from 10-12 Nov.  We were there to take part in the Liberation Parade in Mons on Sunday 11th November 2018 - an immensely important date.  We were incredibly well looked after by the whole family, and the rooms were very comfortable, clean and well presented.  The farm is a proper working farm and we were delighted to be able to talk to new-born calves before breakfast!  Breakfast was excellent on both days and Ingrid made us a delicious quiche on the second day.  The beds were exceptionally comfortable and our accommodation, whilst being close to the family home, was completely detached and private.  Would visit again like a shot if we were in the area.  Very welcoming and charming people, who look after you extremely well - a wonderful experience - very highly recommended.

2 Day Visit for the 100th Anniversary Commemorations of the end of The Great War

If you need to be in this part of the world and are looking for a cosy retreat then this place  will fill all the boxes.  The Gite was a few minutes from the  farm and was really nicely decorated with a wood pellet fire, large kitchen, and 2 large bedrooms each with its own seperate shower.  
The owner was extremely kind and we even got a bottle of fresh milk direct from the farm.

Family trip that turned out to be absolutely enthusiastic for both parents and kids (one little boy and one teen girl). The atmosphere is a typical countryside one with elegance and kindness where everyone can maximise the use of the five senses. Hearing, observing and touching animals, tasting quality products at breakfast, smelling the countryside. Collection of eggs and feeding calves with baby bottles included. An emotional journey listening to the farmer trying to better understand the daily life as well as participating to the birth of a little wonderful calf.

Greatly welcomed by a new born

We travel to learn about other people, places & culture and this is one of the best experiences to date!  Ingrid & Tony were exceptional hosts. The accommodations were unique, modern and comfortable. Ingrid provided a wonderful breakfast each day, and shared her knowledge and experience in the hospitality business and living in several different European locations. Tony shared his immense experience in dairy farming and business. We were even fortunate enough to meet a couple of their adult children who also willingly shared their knowledge and experience in different aspects of agriculture.  Although we had our own excursions pre-planned, input from Ingrid & Tony resulted in us seeing sights & attractions that exceeded those we had planned for ourselves. Highly recommend this adventure!
