7 reviewsWe had visited in April and returned this time with our two college age children. We had two rooms across the hall from each other which worked out very well, especially since we could choose which balcony had the best lighting depending on the time of day! Parking was free, and even with other guests there was still room to park. The best part of this hotel is how Rosa not only serves as hostess but also as expert travel adviser. She asked what our plans were each day, and promptly pulled out maps and brochures to give us the best information. We took her advice and had excellent adventures in St. Gilgen and Salzburg, retreating each evening back to the quiet evening sunsets over the fields and steeple in Faistenau. Visiting with Rosa is always a good conversation and it was good to see her again. Breakfast, as always, was excellent. We laughed when a kitten attempted to join us through an open door and Rosa promptly chased him out.
