New Cafe style Coffee, sandwiches and delicious Greek sweet foods,
Coffee is extremely good enjoy whilst watching the ocean and the owners are local and friendly.
Also Penneshaw Beach Stay for accommodation, enjoy the views from your room .

New Spot for great Coffee

After staying in Penneshaw for the week & being curious about Penneshaw Beach stay travelling past each day we were ready to leave saying - we must check that place out. Then … in came the weather, no ferry we were stuck! 
Nowhere to stay we were so lucky to be picked off the list of many enquires & offered a room for the night. 
So comfortable, quality linen, very clean and modernised, plenty of space for 3 adults & a child, great touches of fridge, microwave, tea & coffee & fantastic location. Easy walk to supermarket, eateries etc. The owners were so friendly & kind. It’ll be on the list for a return trip for sure and we will never forget how fortunate we were.  Thank you

More than a port in a storm!

The accommodation was fantastic - plenty of space for four people in the room, and the beds were comfy. The room had all necessities for a relaxing stay. Was lovely to sit and watch the ferry come and go from the window whilst drinking a coffee.
Hosts were also lovely. Cannot recommend enough.

Exceptional

Brilliant location. While the rooms are basic they contain what a family needs and even for a couple, like us, they fit the bill. Very close to ferry terminal, next door to car rental and within waliking distance of cafes, supermarket and beach.

Good value, comfortable basic family stay

Large, spotless units overlooking beautiful Penneshaw Beach. Right next to ferry, car hire ( don't go past Jen from Budget) walk to IGA, cafes, great hikes. The guys who run this place are passionate about this beautiful area and have renovated these units tastefully. If you're prepared to do some driving, this place has more to offer than Kingscote.

Awesome beach location!

Stayed 1 night before catching the ferry back.
Michael was very good in communicating via email. The place is well located, very close to the ferry and good eating options close by.
The room was large and clean, bed was comfortable.
TV is in an awkward position where you have to sit on the double bed to view it, not on the sofa.
The sea views vary in quality depending which room you get.
Its ok value for money.

Good for overnight

Can’t find nicer people and homier feeling. The rooms are perfect. Cooking with the ocean view is a dream come true. Conveniently located just across from the ferry to see dolphins comemeet it as it strolls into bay!

FANTASTIC

This was my second season staying at Tandarra Lodge in Penneshaw.  It was my base there while I worked as a tour guide from November to March . Dallys is an amazing hostess. I had access to a well equipped kitchen and had great clean accommodations. 
Its situated only 100 metres from a beautiful beach and a short walk to cafes,supermarkets and food outlets. There is also a night Penguin tour available most nights. 
It's also a short walk from the ferry terminal so it's very easy to get to and base there for exploring the amazing place called Kangaroo Island. 

Tandarra Lodge Penneshaw Kangaroo Island 

Upon arriving I was greeted and felt extremely welcomed by Dallas the owner. The place looked redone and displayed a positive vibe. A place I can not wait to return to.
The accommodation was simple to navigate and provided small necessities that really made the stay, one to remember.

AMAZING!!!

Awesome place to stay, brekfast is included, eggs, fruit, milk, coffee, tea, cereal etc.

Rooms are clean and tidy, the common facilities are great, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need.

Its across the road from an oval, skate park, the beach, penguins, awesom views etc.

Around the corner is the main St of Penneshaw with food, pub, servo, etc.

Down the road is the IGA (supermarket) and they regularly have markets at the oval and on the road out the front of the oval.

Dallas is a lovely, welcoming,  knowledgable and friendly host with her beautiful friendly puppa Coco.
