We loved our stay here, so peaceful and quiet. The spa was perfect and was well used by us. We had a fire at night time and looked at the stars. The bed was comfy and loved the electric blankets.
A great place to relax and switch off. We took all our own food and kitchen was well supplied. Thanks

We absolutely loved the entire stay. The atmosphere was pleasant and the scents of fresh air and beautiful setup. Such a relaxing and different experience and l definitely would like to come back for getaway from work.

Loved BBQ facility, spa, bonfire, well looked after venue, sound of birds and view from the tent in the morning.

If you want something different but still after comfortable setup, I highly recommend Tuckers Retreat.

We just had an excellent stay in the Flying Fox Tent for my partner's birthday. Freda was very helpful and also organised beautiful native flowers in the tent with a card for my partner at my request. The scenery is amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable and many blankets were provided which made our stay comfortable despite the fresh nights, the Jacuzzi under the full moon in the april cold was the best experience.

Lots of nice places to eat nearby in Canungra although be aware that they all close around 8 pm.

Only small downside is that there could maybe be a bit more privacy on the jacuzzi from the other tent with a thicker opaque curtain but other than that we just loved our first time in the Gold Coast Hinterland and Tuckers Retreat made it an unforgettable experience, we definitely recommend!

We recently stayed here for three nights and despite the wet weather really enjoyed ourselves. The tents are large, well equipped and very comfortable and we loved a relaxing soak in the spa at the end of each day. 

The tents have a little wear and tear and have some mildew stains but are very clean and watertight. We believe we got good value and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for a relaxing, romantic break.

The photos do not do this place justice. The set up is like nothing I’ve seen before. Very comfy king sized bed, well stocked small kitchenette, BBQ with the lot and heated jacuzzi tops it off. Great for a weekend away to sit, relax and listen to the birds. Bring a jacket as it can get quite cool at night time. Would highly recommend, we will be back! 

This is the second time I have come to Tucker’s Retreat, last time as a couple with my boyfriend and this time for a girls weekend. 
Flying Fox tent each time and once again it was PHENOMENAL! 
The atmosphere, serenity, customer service and breathtaking beauty are all above what you could dream of.
Views you just can’t get anywhere else- like paintings! 
Glen was unbelievably understanding with problems arriving re: payment and once again was a welcoming and brilliant host.
Fresh dragonfruit awaiting our arrival and all the extra touches you don’t expect from a resort. 
Thank you for another wonderful stay- I’ll be coming back and recommending to everyone for years to come!

Stayed here on a very raining weekend. That didnt dampen the weekend tho. This little tent is lovely. Has everything u require. Fridge, comfortable bed, warm shower, cooking facilities, amazing hot spa and fire pit which we managed to use first night.
It was so peaceful and relaxing which is just what i needed. Id love to return here.

Few places to eat out in Canungra and mt tamborine is a short drive too.

Perfect place to catch up with friends.  We had both tents booked out so we had the whole place to ourselves.  Amazing place so relaxing just listening to the birds and cows. Accommodation was perfect, loved the super comfy bed.  Would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Amazing weekend

Weekend away 

Our daughter booked this for us when we came to see her graduation from Kokoda Barracks.
She paid $777 for three nights ($259 per night), which in my books is an absolute premium price. The placed offered 'luxury glamping' and indeed the facilities were lovely, however we felt that hospitality and generosity was lacking.
What was good:
The tents were solid and well maintained
The king size bed was comfortable
The spa was hot and had been pre-warmed for our arrival.
What was not:
Complimentary toiletries were not replenished
No hooks to hang your clothes in the bathroom
No hairdryer
Nowhere to put your toiletry bag in the bathroom
Tea/ coffee/ milk were not replenished during our stay- and a couple of scrunched up Lipton tea bags is not luxury in my opinion
We had a fire in the fire pit one night and used the meagre supplies of wood. The lighter and the matches supplied did not work - it was lucky we'd brought our own. No more wood was supplied and it was difficult to find any ourselves because the property had been well cleared. When we did find wood, we didn't have anything to cut it up with.
There were a lot of mosquitos around and a can of aerogard would have been very handy.
It was really cold at night and there were no spare blankets
The pillows were old and flat.
Overall, the owners did not come near us the whole time we were there. They'd have had no idea about all of this because they did not check.
It is a shame because the place is lovely, but I really don't think the owners have any understanding about how to provide good hospitality. Our impression was that they felt they were doing us a favour.
