The room was clean. However, the fridge had rust and the shower screen was a bit wobbly. Staff were friendly and professional. Good place to stay for a night while travelling. The room had a double bed only but fine for one person.

Driving to Sydney from Toowoomba via Maroochydore all we needed was a bed and shower so Arosa was cheap and convenient. We got KFC from just down the road which was handy for our dinner. There was plenty of  milk, tea, coffee and sugar which was great. I had the best sleep which did surprise me as the bed did not look that comfortable. But be warned it is opposite a set of street lights on a hill so the trucks braking to stop and accelerating was quite noisy but as it got later the traffic eased off.
If you have time, shop around. If a bed, shower and tea or coffee are all you need for the night, the price we paid $75 was perfect for us. The fridge worked well.

Cheap Overnight Stay

Avoid this motel is the worst I have stayed in looks reasonable from highway we got caught as it was a long week end driving back to Brisbane from Canberra didnt read reviews so we blame ourselves should have asked for refund and kept driving but were both tired and thought dangerous to stay behind wheel for another 5 hours its dirty beds falling apart shower old mouldy disgusting surprised it hasnt been closed down

a room not even fit for a dog. everything in room is well below standard. looks very 2nd  or 3rd hand. cockroaches and ants have been detected in the room. don't even talk about the so called bathroom. absolutely putrid. would never stay here again or recommend to anyone.

cheap & nasty

Unfortunately this is the first motel as you enter Coffs & it's a trap!!!
The man with the bad toupee was friendly enough, giving us a mud map of the local fast food joints because they don't do breakfast anymore.
On entering the room the first thing you notice is the smell, the next, how badly kept the place is.
There was no remote for the TV. The fridge was dinted, rusty & the freezer was frosted.
The bed felt like it had a board under it (did not dare to look) & the wall of the extremely outdated shower was unstable. 
We went out for dinner & my husband said "I can't go back there", so we collected our things & booked into the Country Comfort up the road. 
We did our dough but we didn't mind. 
Lesson learnt - always check the room out before paying. 
Do not stay there!!!

DO NOT GO THERE

Pulled into first motel at 10.00pm, won't ever do that again. 3 air conditioners that didn't work,so owner had a small electric fan in the room, a ceiling fan that looked as if it was going to fall, offensive smell, grubby all the way through. Decided to stay as it was late, woke up with a rash, the bed was as hard as a rock, this place should be CONDEMNED!!!!!!!!!
Would have been better off sleeping in the car, don't go there!!!!!!
