air con room, and the sound of the beach. Fantastic . The parking was great. Close to everything needed for supplies, but far enough to have privacy. best holiday place for a family with teenagers

The most professional booking agents ive used, they were all extremely helpful from start to finish. 
The unit block is stunning and the beach is just beautiful! 
Awesome layout very roomy & modern. It's more like a squeaky clean five star hotel than a holiday block.
I will gladly be looking to stay here for my next trip or in any unit the agent recommends.

Great Unit for couples or a family

TV doesn't work, can't find control box.  Marks on sofa cushions that I don't want to think about.  Grill covered in cheese!  Greasy glasses.

Room obviously given a lick and a promise! Rear of sofa back mouldy.  Thin towels and little toilet paper. 

Can hear the surf but can only see bushes from balcony.   Beach a 10 minute walk.   

The local restaurant not bad but it is your only local option otherwise you drive to Kingscliffe.  Staff friendly and food good but menu limited.

Have to stay tomorrow night too.   Just hope the bed is comfy! 

Staff are nice, Andrew very welcoming.

Shame ....... great gym, boxing and pool in complex so some positive aspects! 

Tired and dirty,  cobwebs on windows 30 cm x 12 cm.  

We were there for a Wedding.  The lady in reception was very pleasant and helpful we were able to go in earlier than 2pm.  The apartment was downstairs quite well laid out for 2 couples with our own bathroom facilities was clean and tidy.  Would have appreciated some tea bags and a little milk for a cuppa but overall it was in a good location opposite the rec room and a very short walk to the Osteria Restaurant.

Overnight stay for a Wedding

I was contacted the day before check in regarding an upgrade from Mainwaring to Drift apartments. 

We arrived around 7pm on the 27/8 to a cold apartment. We tried turning on the heater but it was not working. Decided that it was to late to bother staff so we went to bed early - as it was just too cold. 
The next afternoon we contacted the front desk who tried to assist us with turning the heater on and came to the conclusion that it was not working.  We were then contacted by the after-hours manager. After some discussion, he decided to move us from no. 27 to no. 12. We arrived to a nice warm but dirty apartment. The bin was full + with a dirty nappy! The on-suite toilet was dirty! The cups had tea/coffee fresh stains on the rims! And, we just hoped that the linen was clean... 
I was horrified as I was the one who organised this weekend for my 2 girlfriends from Hobart. 
We informed the lady at the front dest upon check out (who shared our concerns and understood our disappointment). She told us that the manager would contact me regarding these issues.  

This did not happen so I emailed them a week and a half later and got this summarised reply from the Manager in question :-

Totally disappointed... 

THE MANAGER RESPONSE - summarised (am happy to email anyone interested the real deal)

The manager response was poor.  He stated that he had done everything possible to assist us.  He offered us a portable heater!  He then followed on by stating that he did not observe any of the issues I mentioned regarding cleanliness and in normal circumstances housekeeping would have triple checked the apartment.  He also highlighted the fact that they ran at a loss trying to accommodate us - and then - they hoped that we would stay with them again where we would be well looked after...

My email response to the Manager :-

I have forwarded your reply to my two nursing friends who were with me - 

We feel that your reply stops short of calling us liars and once again, we are disappointed in your response. It is incredible that you should mention losses. We were upgraded by your people and placed in a room without a working heater. As you well know, the apartment was rather large with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious lounge and kitchen. The small portable heaters were not sufficient in keeping the place at a comfortable temperature. We would have needed four of them. The room temperature was 14 degrees and would have dropped further that evening. We would have been content with our original booking, in a clean apartment with a working heater. We booked this site on *** ** in good faith. All our other deals with *** ** have been of a high standard so you can imagine our surprise with our dealings with your company. Again, the lady at check out was most understanding and conveyed the same disappointment as us and informed me that you would get in contact with me to rectify the situation. This did not happen. I will leave truthful feedback and forward all correspondence between the two of us to anyone interested in our experience on *** ** etc.
