Hotel Jon is a beautiful little family-run hotel. Your reservation includes a reserved beach chair and umbrella as well as breakfast at the restaurant next door. I found the beds to be quite comfortable which was a welcome change after a month long trip staying in hostels across the Balkans. I had a sea view room and enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night enjoying the sea breeze. The brothers that run the hotel were both kind and helpful. I think I was one of the few visitors not from the region, which added to the adventure. I absolutely loved my time there and hope to return again some day!

The hotel is right on the beach and has about 12 rooms. Our room rate included breakfast at the next door restaurant, a beach umbrella and 2 beach chairs. The rooms are very cozy and extremely clean. Joni and Donald, the brothers who run the hotel, are extremely friendly and hospitable and eager to help with any issues.. The grounds are well kept and the hotel is nearby many other restaurants and stores along the promenade next to the beach. Hotel includes free parking. Our original plan was to stay for 4 days, but the kids enjoyed it so much, we added another 2 days to our stay.

We spent two nights at the Hotel Jon in Dhermi on our amazing tour of Albania with Albania TravelNet.  The hotel is directly across for the beach and is very clean and comfortable.  We would have stayed a few weeks in Dhermi, it is a special place.  The beach is unsurpassed for beauty.  I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Jon.  It is the perfect location on the perfect beach.  Just two doors down is the best restaurant in all of Albania, Restaurant Del Mare, when in Dhermi, make sure to stop in for an unforgettable meal.  We miss Dhermi very much and cannot wait to come back.

Hotel Jon is situated at the beautiful Dhermi Beach. The hotel was built in 2010, and is kept clean and well maintained. In addition the area in front of the hotel looks like a mini botanical garden. 

Our Family of 4 (kids age 4 and 6) stayed 4 nights at the hotel. The rooms are not really big enough nor equipped for 4 people, but we were offered an additional bed. The room ended up being quite full, but it worked well for us.

The stay included breakfast at the neighbouring cafe, wi-fi and 2 sunbeds on the Beach during the day. 

One small minus is that there might be some noice from the neighbouring cafe late in the evening. There was Music till ~1 AM one night during our stay, that kept one of us awake.

The beach itself consists of nicely rounded marble pebbles, the water is crystal clear and the hills raising up behind the beach makes a really nice scenery.

All in all we had a very nice stay in Dhermi and at Hotel John. It is really convenient to stay virtually at such a beautiful beach, and it is a perfect place for a few days of relaxation.

Clean rooms, great location!!

TOURIST BEWARE!!!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is absolutely terrible!! I rarely post reviews but the staff was so rude and disrespectful, I got time today! First and foremost I called before I arrived and told them I would be coming and staying one night. I arrive and nobody is at reception. I had to call 3 times to get any information. Terrible experience! Then when I get ready to leave no one is around. I assumed the cleaning lady (only person around to give me the keys) had collected payment. When I leave they call me incessantly saying that I the customer forgot to pay and that it’s my fault for leaving the hotel without calling or telling them I was leaving, as If I am some child reporting to a parent. Completely unprofessional and I truly hope this place closes down, because if this is how they treat customers then they really do not need to be in business. He had the audacity to blame me for him not being present to handle the hotel business. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!
