Me and my wife, we stayed one night, nice location for hotel, great welcome,tasty dinner and breakfast, generous management and owner, warm hotel even when it's snowing, We recommend this hotel, and we will visit it again

I went there with a few friends and a few couples. I've been there in the winter and it was absolutely breathtaking. The owner was such a sweetheart who treated us as friends and wanted to do anything to please us. The staff was there at any service we wanted and more. The fire place was blazed where we were roasting potatoes and having a bottle of old vintage red wine. It was truly amazing and relaxing, great getaway to feel the winter spirit and away from the city. When we planned a trip to visit during June, the summer, it was even better than expected. Great outdoor activities like the winter, ATV rides, hikes in and around caves, beautiful cold breezes in the midst of the summer heat and traditional food that was mouthwatering. The hotel mon refuge is in the prime location and easy to get around where ever you want to go to. The hotel has been open since the 80's and honestly it is still standing on its feet serving and making every guest leaving with a smile. It's cozy, fun, great location and you get to do whatever you want with no one complaining. If you are planning to go to Arez (cedars) this hotel should be your first choice !!!!!

Been here long time ago. Fell in love with the simple and friendly setting of the hotel. It looks like a family-owned hotel where the owner and his wife are taking care of everything personally. 
I enjoyed a lot sitting next to the fireplace close to the restaurant in the ground floor where I spent hours reading Cervantes Don Quixote.
There was a problem in the hot water shower and I think that was due to being there in off-season.
The view is breathtaking and the hotel is so close to the skiing area.

We hitchhiked in the area in November and got to the cedars without a place to sleep. We asked locals and got a name of the hotel and the name of the owner. We described our situation and got a room at a very decent price (we talk CHEAP, for Lebanon) The owner was well mannered, classy and nice to us, though we meant barely any profit to him. He offered and drank tea with us. Spoke classy/colonial french, but no english. 

Interesting to mention, there were two underage african teens working as maids in those maid costumes, which brought up the colonial feel of the hotel even more. (hope they were not slaves... )

There is WiFi in the lounge, the rooms are kinda worn, but for humble hikers, this hotel is just the thing they need! Hot water runs and electricity work well!

An Off-Season Stay with LOve

Shelter for those in need!

Very old hotel, not family friendly,they had a party outside the hotel with a very loud music that the kids couldn’t sleep and after reporting at 12:30 a.m the responsible said oh give us one more hour. Not acceptable at all. The rooms are old and needs renovation.the buffet options is very limited.

Worst hotel in lebanon
Rooms very dirty, every single piece in the room need maintenance, the heating system is on for only 3 hours and if you choose to use the chemine all the smoke will be in the room, electricity cut off at 11 pm, not even a single light on the stairs you have to use your phone to light,
I will never try to visit this place again.
Honestly it should be not called hotel not even 1 star rating

Nightmare

Beware never stay in this filthy stinking place, the double bed is actually 2 singles. Water was running all night on the toilet floor, we couldn't get in without wearing our snow shoes, the maid just dropped a couple of towels on the floor hoping for the best. On top of that the owner followed us into the room on the second floor to collect the $75 fearing we would run away without paying. The next morning we asked for some coffee to the room which was delivered, the waiter asked to be paid also in cash before handing over the tray.... hilarious... the whole room and beds were infected by bugs finding their way in all parts of your body... maybe part of the package...
Cheers guys find another place... I would rate this place as a zero stars.... $10 max if you have no other choice... sleep in your car...
