the boutique hotel was right in front of the beach, we were first time to mui ne and were very tired, but the hotel very amazing, the staff very nice and handle us with her smile, clean place, nice cafe by the night.
we were booking online through one of website.

Muine Joe Cafe Beach Boutique just rock !

I ordered food and a drink. The long island took over 25 minutes. I watched the man mixing it. Maybe a total of 2 seconds pour. Really poor. The food took forever and was greasy as hell. Nice spot, but crap customer service and cost cutting make me never want to go back. There are better places nearby, go there. Looks nice, looks can be deceiving

Rip off

Had lunch there yesterday. Now that I’ve calmed down I’ll write something. I tried this Joe’s Restaurant ( there are two on the same side of the street but far apart, one has live music this one does not. ) same menu. Ordered food .. waited.... waited .... waited .two items came in 35 minutes. ( restaurant was empty). Then I saw a moped roll up with a guy holding spring roll wraps. He ran to the back . Then we waited ... waited.... finally we had to leave for a tour. They did say would keep our rolls in the fridge for us. The ladies where very friendly, but Joe, come on! I gave you live music restaurant a chance then I came to your other location . Your giving western , Japanese , and Mexican eating a very bad name .

Our nice and big bungalow was direct in front of the beach with a beautiful view on the sea from the room or from the nice sitting place. Additional sun-bed  in the shade of palm-leave parasols and a nice garden with flowers gave a good atmosphere. Wonderful hearing the waves all the night. The sea and the very small beach were not so clean as it could be but ok for swimming.  But the clean pool was big enough for real swimming great. 
The breakfast  direct at the sea  was good and the staff friendly.  Nearby Joes‘s cafe offer good food and drinks and wonderful life music every evening.
All together we can highly recommend this place.

Beautiful view

when we got to our room we noticed there was no wardrobe only hooks on the wall we said we were not happy and the day after they brought us a wardobe, at breakfast the next morning we sat in the barefoot cafe which is on site to wait for breakfast there was a rat running around the cafe and around the pool which totally freaked me out.  If you visit this cafe for lunch make sure you go before u are hungry it can take up to 40 minutes wait for a sandwich and expensive.  Try the Beach Bar over the road for snacks nice friendly service and reasonable prices.  People can just walk into the resort from outside there were only half a dozen sunbed cushions on the sunbeds and outsiders were using these which is a bit annoying when u r staying there and have paid, this totally infuriated us and we would not stop here again, they should look after their paying customers.  Pool area was never cleaned, cups plates and glasses were left there from the day before and the staff just ignored them dont wonder there were rats on site.  The girls on reception were lovely and so were the cleaning staff, breakfast was great plenty of choice and lovely coffee and orange juice.  Building work was also on site but not too intrusive.  In our opinion this place is badly managed the grounds are beautiful and the bedrooms are nice and clean but pool area needs work and needs to be tidied up its not rocket science.  All in all we had a nice holiday there but would probably go somewhere else in Mui Ne if we went again.

good and bad in this resort

Nicely located, well run, well equipped and well managed place. The houses are spacious, well maintained and equipped with everything you may need. Nice pool, sunbeds along the seafront. Small beach that gets flooded during high tide. The improvements in progress do not disturb the guests. Good breakfast with a number of set options. Fresh juices and fruit and excellent coffee. No restaurant on the site but a good choice within walking distance. Nice and helpful staff. A good place for the Mui Ne visit

A nice place in the process of improvement

Front desk staff is very polite and courteous. Originally we booked deluxe twin at Joe’s cafe and garden but was told tow night before our stay that the hotel seawall was broke by the big wave, then we were being offer to change our stay to Joe’s Seasde Boutique. Our room were being free upgrade to family deluxe with two queen bed when we checked in, it was really unexpected and my friend and I felt very satisfy. The sunrise view from hotel seaside is amazing!
However breakfast was too simple and below expectation. Try not to book the sleeping bus back to HCM if possible as the bus was quite old in compare to Futa express and the air conditioning is not cold at all. Bus timing also not punctual although it still arrived HCM on time. The bus fare is higher too.

Overall stay is good.

My husband and I did a whirlwind 3 week trip to Vietnam, and the last place we stayed was at Joe's in Mui Ne. Only wish we had booked a week instead of 3 days :( Perfect place to finish the trip, arrived home completely rested. We stayed in the Beachside Resort (not the main one) which was perfect because it was quiet with lots of space and super nice grassy areas for yoga and a larger pool to exercise in. Lots of relaxing looking at the waves, and falling asleep listening to them. Joe and Thao are great people who really take care of this place. Plus, live music every night, yes please, with actually super affordable wine! (something I was missing by the end of my trip, lol).

Perfect place to relax at the end of the trip!

Beautiful garden setting, with a swimming pool and comfy loungers, and also right next to the sea. The food was excellent, especially the Vietnamese dishes - I'd recommend the chicken and ginger clay pot! 
Only possible complaint was that although the bungalow had a clean and comfortable double bed, the second 'bed' was actually a big sofa without a blanket. The air-con was so good that it got too cold at night.

Perfect for a quiet getaway from Saigon

We stopped here for two nights in a beachfront bungalow towards the end of our Vietnam holiday. At 60AUD a night we wished we booked three nights.
Surfing, kiteboarding and windsurfing straight out front and lazing in the sun was a perfect relaxing end to our break.
The breakfast here is quite good. We are at he barefoot cafe both mornings, where the service is a little slow and not particularly friendly. The girls on the front counter, however were very nice.
