In the beginning I had intended to stay at this hostel for 2 days. Those turned into almost 2 weeks... and after some months backpacking, l came back for another few days. I don't usually return to the same place while travelling, but it surely felt like coming home! 

 Originally, l had stumbled across this hostel because it was recommended to me by someone working in another (!) hostel - and that for good reasons. It's a fantastically laid-back place with lovely people working there, who make sure to help you with everything you need and make you feel at home. Fede, the owner, really has poured his heart and soul into this place and it shows. There is a familial vibe - Mate will be drunk in abundance, card games will be played and most evenings there is a shared dinner. Durong high season often over the parilla, which is amazing. In fact, I could've just stayed all this time for the food. ( It was definitely one of the many reasons to return ;) )

Oh and then there's also the sea view terrace and hammocks and all that. But that's really just the cherry on top of a paradisic hostel sundae! :)

So if you go, plan a few extra days. You are gonna want to stay longer!

Little corner of paradise

We loved our stay here. Quiet hostel because it was on the talent of off season. It was perfect for us. The view is incredible, location is perfect and the hostel ow Dr and staff were terrific.
The owner had a bbq one night that he invited us to and it was some of the most amazing beef and chorizo I have ever had. We were sad to leave this place.

Easy place to get stuck

Hostel El Indio is a great place to stay in Punta del Diablo. The staff is lovely and the view from the hammock to the ocean is great. Beach is nearby and so is the center, supermarket and ATM. Fedde is a great guy!

Great staff, lovely view

It's a good hostel, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and they have a big kitchen. It's easy to stay longer than you planned of you have time, well located in front of the main beaches.

Nice and cozy

Best location in front of the sea . 
Arrived at night for one night , ask for a room for a family of five and was told no prob , we do have available rooms .
Suddenly I couldn't book because of being with children , something was quite of weird ....
