We were just looking for a cheap place and happened upon this for 50 bucks a night. We got 2 beds, private bath, and pretty decent breakfast so we thought it was a good value. The front desk staff was very helpful and allowed us to store luggage there for a week while we went to Argentina. My son and I really liked this place for some odd reason. We also stayed at other hotels over the course of doing shipping business in Montevideo and some are more quaint, historic etc...but when they are booked up this is a great option with good dining right in the surrounding blocks and very safe feel.
