The hostel is located a bit outside the centre of Punta del Diablo, so it is a bit of a walk to the beach. But there is a store right next to it where you can get drinks and basic food. The patio is just beautiful and very quiet. The owners are so friendly and helpful that I felt really at home. They also have a cute cat called Marley. You can rent bikes directly in the hostel, which is a great option for Punta del Diablo.

Great place to relax

I stayed here for a week, and I loved it. It's a 20 minute walk from the beach, but the big benefit of that is that it is very chilled out and quiet at night, great for a good night's sleep. It attracts friendly, respectful people. The owners/staff are lovely people and they went out of their way to help me out with a couple of things. I liked the large garden area - there are lots of places to sit and just hang out. I'd go back for sure.

Awesome place, loved it

We stayed during some wet weather, so spent more time in El Nagual than we had planned, but we were made so welcome it didn't matter! The owner is helpful and friendly, and we chatted with him for ages. The double room was comfortable and had lockers, and breakfast was served each morning. The beach and town centre are about 20 minutes walk down a road with a pedestrian route at the side, and we had no trouble getting to and from either. 
We had a great time in Punta del Diablo, despite the rain!

Friendly, helpful owner and relaxed atmosphere

Generally a comfortable place to be. Great outdoor areas, also undercover if your visit coincides with poor weather. Staff weren't overly friendly in my experience, but the rest of the visitors spoke Spanish so I kinda felt left out. Right beside a couple of mini supermarkets, a fifteen minute walk to the beach and town centre. Breakfast is classic South American: bread, jam, butter, juice, tea, coffee etc. If I had my time again I think I could find a better spot.
