We came here for a family fall weekend with our family of 3, as we do every fall, and this might be the favorite place we have ever stayed in the Catskills. Every member of the family was delighted and we found our cabin so cozy that we spent lazy mornings just reading and having coffee and tea and enjoying ourselves. The cabin was squeaky clean and had everything we needed for a comfy stay--from plenty of fresh towels to a tea kettle and coffee set up. The property is lovely and we had a nice nature walk on the trail provided and maintained nicely by the property. When we arrived, we found a lovely roaring fire in the firepit and marshmallows and sticks provided free of charge for toasting. We also used the spa which was clean and lovely to warm up in on a crisp fall night. Matty, the proprietor, took such good care of us and went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. 
Both my partner and I remarked that this spot had all the benefits of a hotel (but with a nice functional kitchen) with none of the downsides of an Airbnb (no elaborate check out process--we simply packed up and walked out :) We found cabin 4A to be absolutely charming but keep in mind that it is not the most private of the cabins due to the fact that it has many windows and faces the public/firepit space. However, we also found that it gets good light for this reason and we had a lovely view of the roaring fire pit at night--and with only a handful of cabins, it's not as though we ever saw more than a few people. 
When we left, our five year old said: "I miss our cozy cabin." We agree! We definitely plan to go back. 



Wonderful and Cozy

This is our 5th visit to the Bellearye Lodge. For this trip, our hosts were Brian and Matty. It was our first time in Cabin 4B and everything was perfect as usual. The room was SPOTLESS clean. The kitchen was ample - with a fridge, stove, microwave, oven and sink. Perfect for light meals. The bathroom was recently renovated and was spacious. There were two bedrooms - both equally comfortable and cute...with the most comfortable mattresses. There was a small living room - perfect for 3-4 people. We traveled as a family of 3 (my husband and I plus our 14 year old son). The grounds are impeccably manicured with beautiful trees, flowers. There is a large fire pit as well as a hot tub. We love hanging out the in main lodge were there is are various games and table/seating to hang out. We are always happy with our visits to Bellearye and look forward to another visit next month. VERDICT: You will love this place. 

This place ROCKS!

  Gigi, the owner,  and Matty,  the on property manager, create a beautiful stay from the time of arrival.  I stayed in the smallest cabin which was completely equipped. And the bed was so cozy. The pour over coffee was great! Refrigerator was perfect for me.  One night Natty maxes bonfire with all the makings of s’mores. And the little shop is great.  Amenities, abundant. I can’t wait to return!

A gem in the Cstskills

We had our family reunion at the Belleayre Lodge. The extended family booked 7 cabins and we were thrilled with the squeaky clean and beautifully maintained cabins. Nothing rustic here, more like “glamping.”  The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. Everyone loved the lawn games, hammocks and fire pit….complete with complimentary S’mores. This place is a gem and we can’t wait to go back.

Lovely Cabins in the Catskills

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting during the July 4th weekend and had the best time ever!  Angel, Gigi, Marty and Brian were the perfect hosts.  The cabins have been beautifully renovated and each cabin has a unique style.  Did i mention how clean everything was/is!!!! This is a must -go-to.  Family and pet friendly. I will return again and again.

Magical

What an adorable and charming lodge nestled in the heart of the Catskills. We couldn’t have asked for a better location, amenities or service. We will most certainly be back.

Gigi and her husband were so incredibly sweet, we felt like we made new friends all around. 

This trip was all we had hoped for and more.

Ask about the railroad tracks up above the lodge and history- it’s fascinating.

Peaceful escape to the mountains

Has everything you need and very close to the slopes. Owners are very nice, reliable and knowledgeable. We will stay here again.Everything is new. There is a pub right in town where we had a blast. There are lots of fun things to do at the lodge.

Gorgeous

I can't even begin to explain how beautiful this place was... a true winter wonderland. Our room in the cottage was very clean and tidy. We had access to a kitchen area that was stocked with all the basic necessities (plates, cups, knives, forks, spoons, pots, pans, etc...) We had access to a hot tub (awesome way to relax and stargaze) ... There was a rec room with activities to do, we spent some time playing board games here. The property is very clean and well managed, the new owners are amazing... very sweet and kind, took care of all of our needs. For those of you that like to skii and board, there is Bellayre mountain nearby. Overall an amazing trip! Definitely will be one of my goto escapes from NYC :)

A beautiful snowy gem!

This place is fantastic! A few friends and I spent 4 nights here mid-January. The town is within walking distance and the slopes are a quick 5 minute drive away. We would snowboard every morning and spend time every afternoon relaxing in the hot tub. The rec room, "Carriage house" was a great place to unwind with your friends after a long day. The hosts Abbey and her husband George were some of the friendliest people I've ever met, very hospitable and pleasant. I'm already planning another trip soon.

Amazing get-away from NYC

This place is great, the little cabins are clean and bedding is fresh. Close to Belleayre ski center, right at the bottom of the mountain! Care takers are so nice and helpful and the little health food store they have was a surprise and came in handy. Check out the out door hot tub in the winter and you won't want to pass up staying here :D
