It was noisy, overpriced and the stool leak was not repaired, so there was water on the floor both nights.

There are too many things wrong with this place to list, but here are the lowlights. Let's start with no blankets on the beds, just a sheet and thin bedspread. Maid service didn't clean the room, refresh coffee or water, or leave right number of towels, but did make bed. One of the windows in the room wouldn't close and the door wouldn't latch properly, not ideal in a dodgy part of town. The building is old. Floors squeak and noise travels. The hallways have vinyl flooring and the rooms very thin outdoor-type carpet, so no noise absorption. Even people walking normally above made a loud noise, let alone the stomping and shouting match that woke us up at 4am. We called the desk and ten minutes or so later ruckus ended. Bad guests can be anywhere and rating is based on what motel can control. Oh, and they don't actually have the business center they list on the website. They charge a resort fee, and the only claimed amenity is that center and the ability to print your boarding pass. When I was able to talk to the clerk at the usually understaffed desk, she first told me to print the pass at the airport (Allegiant charges for this), then printed both passes on one sheet of paper, which doesn't work. As other people were waiting, I gave up. Management can't fix this part of town or make the building less old, but they could certainly upgrade the rooms and service to the level of other Super 8's.

They don't even try

Enjoyed stay at Super 8! Extended stay here and front desk staff was accommodating and answered phones quickly. Housekeeping=Clean room! Television’s are up-to-date, view is pretty much nada. I like the lamp stems and the mounted Las Vegas photographs/artwork, cool creative work...

The at checkin we’re rude to my husband. You could see daylight around the door, it was noisy all night, so didn’t get much sleep.  We had planned to spend two nights but after a bad night we left.  I spoke to the check out person she said she couldn’t refund the 2nd night but would speak to the manager when they came on and then would call me I still have not heard from them.  While showering the water ran all over leaving a mess for me to wipe up. It was a handicapped room which we did not require.

On strip & in the ghetto

This place is located on the North Las Vegas strip. Not the best of locations to begin with. That said our stay here was pretty much a downhill slide. Made the reservation on line using the Wyndham Rewards connection. The quoted price for the room was not honored. Upon check-in we were told an additional $10 "Resort Fee" would be added to the room price. I did not see mention of this add-on while going through the reservation process on the Wyndham site. After a brief discussion with the reservations clerk about this fee we went ahead and paid it rather than seek out other lodging so late in the afternoon.
We completed check-in and went to our ground floor room. After unloading the needed items from our vehicle we settled in to relax for a few minutes before going out for dinner. We didn't get much relaxation as there was considerable activity in the parking area directly outside our door. Lots of folks walking around, with one in particular spending considerable time around the many parked vehicles. We got what rest we could, changed and headed out for dinner. Upon returning we were unable to find a parking spot near our room. Patience was the watch word and after parking on the other side of the building for awhile we finally secured a space near the door to our room. It was fairly quiet at this point, around 8 pm. That changed as the night wore on, with more and more folks out in the parking lot just hanging around with their engines running and then going and coming back. A busy night out there. Perhaps to be expected in Las Vegas, but the experience was our worst for a Vegas stay.
The room itself was nothing to write home about. Floors were bare wood (the new style for many motels and hotels) and honestly the place needs to be deep cleaned. It wasn't filthy dirty it just needed a good deep cleaning to remove excess dust and thoroughly clean the bathroom surfaces.
No on-site breakfast, but they did have coffee. A coupon for 25% off breakfast was provided upon checkin with no explanation of where it could or should be used. We didn't see anyplace in the neighborhood that we wanted to go for breakfast so did not follow-up on the coupon. When morning came we just left and went elsewhere for food. Bottom line - we'll not be coming back to this place and shame on Wyndham for no apparent mention of the $10 "Resort Fee.".

Not The Best

Terrible rooms, not clean, smell like smoke, and we asked for a non-smoking room, right next to the weeding Chapel noisy.

This was my second time staying here. The first time was great. However this time I was bitten by Bud Bugs. I wasn't sure at first if this was certain however after reading up on Bed Bugs and not staying anywhere else on my stay I am certain it true.

BED BUGS

Night 1,tents upstairs super loud at 3:30 am what felt like they where going to fall through ceiling. Night 2,NO parking for tents thunderbird night club was open security didn’t honor authorized vehicle parking only sign posted in front of hotel room, so any body could park except people who paid to stay at SUPER 8. Finally waited for someone to leave @ 2am 

Sleepless in Las Vegas

I am Camila Castillo, and I had the worst experience ever from thunderbird hotel. the front desk were rude and disrespectful specially a read hair girl, she even wanted to steal my money and when I asked why she even called me a liar and when I contacted my bank then she decided to give me back my money! and less of it! no even a compensation!
