The room was ok. The sheets were clean but blankets and bedspreads had old cigarettes holes. The bath towels were new. The public areas were sad and worn. I got locked out of my room in the morning and there was no one around to help me.

We were not allowed to stay. The manager would not honor my expedia reservation ( I showed him the your confirmation) saying you listed the wrong price. When I said this seemed like a bait & switch the manager freaked out and would not allow us to stay even when I said I would pay the higher price. To his credit he did call the other motel in town and found a room.

They did not honor the reservation price and charged about $30 more- wasn’t a resort fee or tax or anything like that just a base rate change as the hotels.com price was “too low” according to the manager. Hotel made a photocopy of my credit card and security code which I demanded the photocopy of my card back as that’s not legal for them to keep. I travel a lot in small towns and I’ve never had this problem. The room was decently clean but we had to get new sheets due to an unusual stain. Housekeepers were very friendly but management has some room for improvement. Had we not been traveling through and checking in late in the evening to sleep and drive on, we would have gone elsewhere after the price change.

Didn’t honor reservation price.

I was very nice but thought it was closer to the Glacier National Park entrance

The management is terrible. No one is at the front desk and you call the owner on his cell phone that is posted. He sends his daughter to check you in by writing your name and number on a notebook.

She left the desk to find a room, checked us into a dirty room. My request for a clean room was possibly ignored? She left the desk and left me standing there. A young man came behind the desk and ignored me until I asked what was going on with the room. He told me he didn't work there but was okay to be behind the desk with private customer information.

I asked the owner, by calling the cell phone number posted and requested a refund, I was referred to the booking agent for that. 

There are young kids running around the lobby and into the back desk area, the place smells and the services were so poor.

I am happy to share the owners cell number with Priceline and Trip Advisor are interested in speaking with their partnering business. 

Doubt it could be worse

There was no one at the desk to greet guests. Asign in the window of the desk said to call the listed number to check in or for other assistance. Once in the room, there was trash from a previous guest still on the window sill. The water cooler in the lobby was empty, I watched a guest make coffee at breakfast because there was no worker present and guests wanted their morning coffee. One guest was trying to get towels for his room, called the number, no answer, and couldn't leave a message because the mail box was full. Later he told us he had to text the number to get help.
Another guest was looking for assisrance with the laundry and couldn't get help.

Not a 5 Star Hotel

Stayed here 3 years ago. Same great room. Clean, quiet, good service. Reasonable rates on TripAdvisor.com. Staff friendly,  helpful, and informative. The room appears to have been updated in the last 5 years. Water is hot and plenty of it. Will stay again.

Overnight on a 600 mile journey 

This hotel is not as advertised at all. Pool & hot tub was closed for the season? The guy at the front desk made you feel like he was doing you a favor by being there. Not the cleanest room but if you have to stay for a night it will do.

Not great

Had nothing but trouble with this property from the very start. Had stayed here the year previous and had no issues so decided to book again based on the price quoted online. The price was not honoured upon check in, and was told there was an “error” in the system. The “error” was theirs and they wouldn’t even cut a little break for the run around, but was too late to change. Secondly, we were told we were now staying on the opposite side of the hotel because the east wing had a “plumbing back-up”. We were told that he had to go around and place towels around all the toilets in the hotel just in case, including the one in our room. We got to our room and it was not the 2 Queen beds that we had booked and we were told that they were all out of rooms with 2 Queen beds, so we were stuck with 1 King. (Which was actually the most minor issue we had) The carpet in the room felt damp and sticky. The room door would barely close. The entrance to the hotel was covered in pigeon poop, there were cracks in some of the windows and outside window screens looked like they had been pryed off some of the rooms. The breakfast wasn’t even open one morning. On-top of all that, the smoke alarm in the main lobby beeped during our whole stay likely due to a low battery...
We were not informed of any changes to our booking before arrival. As far as I could tell there was one employee only. Looking back I should have just ate crow and walked out and never looked back. I would bet that if an inspector had visited this property, it would not have been open due to the “plumbing back-up” and faulty smoke alarm alone, never mind any of the rest. 
I would NEVER stay here again, and I recommend that even though the correct price may be enticing, you spend even an extra $50 a night to STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Unless something really turns around I would doubt this place is even open in a years time...

DON’T. JUST DON’T.

I only gave it average because of 3 issues, the room was good and spacious has all you need, now the negatives.
1) arrived no one in either building so we could not book in, as other guests who were also waiting, tried the extension number just in reception, tried the number left at reception, no answer 2 times walked around both buildings trying to get attention, nothing! Tried external number again this was after 1 hour finally someone answered and we were able to book in, we had prepaid otherwise would have moved on.
2) hairs in the bath and not from the head, so totally flushed the bath.
3) continental breakfast really basic
