The condo was in a good location located across the street from Snowflake lift. It is a short walk to Main Street or you can also take the Free bus which stops across the street as well. The condo itself was well stocked. Kitchen has everything you need as far as pots, pans, utensiles,glasses, and plates. There is a coffee pot and a 4 slot toaster. It had plenty of extra sheets, pillows,blankets, and towels. There are hairdryers on the wall in each bathroom but we couldn't figure out how they worked. There was also one under the sink in the downstairs bathroom that worked well. The only downfall is it is two flights up and no elevator. Once you are in the condo the bedrooms are another flight up. There is one bathroom upstairs and one bathroom down stairs next to the living room. So if you don't want to share a bathroom with whomever is in the other bedroom than they will have to use the downstairs bathroom. There is a really nice big flat screen tv in the living room and two smaller ones in each bedroom. There is a large round dining table that we used for storing all of our ski gear like gloves, hats, googles, sunglasses. We ate all our meals on the counter with the bar stools. It is a corner unit so plenty of Windows and a balcony that you can watch people ski down 4 O'clock run from. If there is enough snow there is a little path you can ski down from the 4 o'clock run that will bring you down close to the hot tub. We skied down to the hot tub once we figured out how and that saved us a couple of feet of walking. The hot tub was really nice outside and they also have two inside which are pretty nice too. They are really close to the door to the condo complex. There is a ski locker for your skis and boots. We were able to fit two sets of skis and boots and two snowboards with no problem. You could probably fit a few more but it would be tight.  I would recommend this unit if you do not mind walking a lot of stairs. The price is good and the location was also good too.

Tyra Aspen Two Bedroom

The location next to a mountain stream is the best part of this condo.  Enjoyed the view of the mountains as well.  Fairly short walk to downtown Breckenridge.
Otherwise, the beds are old and uncomfortable.  Time for an update in this condo interior!

Nice location, condo interior needs update

The only reason we stay here is because you can walk about 75 yards to the lift.  Also, wild foxes are regulars and you will be able to see them walking around in the snow.  The unit itself is in bad need of an update.  There are about 5 hangers in the closet that is crowded with cheap plastic shelving.  We had to pull the shelving out and store clothing on it out in the living room.  There are no chest of drawers so we had to store more clothing in the kitchen shelving.  The miniblinds are broken and tattered, the carpet is old and rumpled and the bathroom is very outdated and the tub drains slowly.  

This unit has different themostats in the living room, bedroom and bathroom and keeping an even temperature is hard, its either too hot or too cold.  There is no peep hole or security latch on the front door which is not a good thing when on vacation.

A real plus is the shuttle which will ferry you around town for free, just tip the driver.  There is a TV in the kitchen and bedroom which is a plus.   I almost forgot to mention that these units seem cater to a younger people that like to watch TV at full volume and in our case, they also like to smoke pot which seeped into our unit several times and stunk up our unit for a couple of hours.

Whatever, as I said we stay here for the ski lift access and the foxes.  Don't expect much in the way of comfort or luxury here.

Tattered Without Proper Storage

Upstairs neighbors were unbearably loud at all hours of the day & night. We called  the rental company and nothing was done. 

The condo is very outdated and needs a refresh. Carpets and furniture were very dirty and need replaced. Great location but the condo needs a refresh. 

Location is beautiful, and that’s all...

Not impressed with Tyra II Chalet building condo.  Very dated!!!  Bedding, furniture, it's all pretty gross.  WiFi never worked for us.  Hot tubs were a joke!  The outside hot tubs had luke warm to cool water.  One indoor hot tub was ice cold.  The other hot tub was hot but looked very dirty.  Nothing relaxing & pleasant about the hot tubs!  The jacuzzi tub in the unit's master bath, blew black chunks of crap out into the bath water.  Disgusting!  Parking is a nightmare!!!  No cookie sheets for baking.  The glass on the gas fireplace was dirty/cloudy so you couldn't see the fire.  One of the best things about having a fireplace is just sitting and watching the fire.  Not possible here!  Spiral staircase going up to the loft is the loudest crickety old thing.  Scary going up & down it.  Just a matter of time before the thing falls down.  Beds uncomfortable.  One bed was broken & sitting crooked when we checked in.  They did come "fix" it when we called them.  When we arrived, the front door was surrounded by multiple loaded trash bags.  Not a good look when seeing the condo for the first time!  

Location to the snowflake lift is GREAT!  Skiing back into the condo is GREAT too!  

We had a great trip but we won't stay at Tyra II again!

Location a plus BUT that's about it

The positive of our stay was the location of the condo and the spaciousness of the condo. 
The rest was pretty disappointing. There was something wrong with almost every bed... In the loft the bed tilted, the master bedroom bed was soft and sank way in and a couple of the twin beds sounded like they were going to fall apart every time you moved. The tile in the kitchen was breaking and most of the grout was gone from in between the tiles. My daughter cut her foot on a chunk of tile that was breaking off. One of the bar chairs kept falling apart and the overall decor was from the 80's. Checkout was at 10 am, but housekeeping showed up (actually came in) at 9:15. Avoid this location!
