We arrived on a snowy night and the mansion was all lit up with twinkling lights, it looked very festive.  Chris was warm and welcoming and helpful during check-in. He made us a wonderful breakfast and we got to meet the enchanting Dillon. The mansion has a great location and I would stay there again if I visit Bozeman in the future.

Charming and historic and welcoming

Best stay in Bozeman!  Lehrkind Mansion is ideally located in the hippest part of town and is walking distance to great restaurants and downtown Bozeman.  Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable.  Chris was a most gracious and accommodating host.  We recommend others stay at Lehrkind Mansion when visiting Bozeman!

Unique and Comfortable

This is a really nice place and Chris is a wonderful host (and cook). Each of the rooms are unique and the common rooms have a lot of charm. The location is amazing too — in a great area and just the right amount of buffer from Main St. I hope to return soon.

Charming B&B in a great part of Bozeman!

We called late in the day to try and book a room and was pleasantly surprised to find an opening! From the time we arrived we were greeted with courtesy and accommodation. Because they weren't busy and we had 3 in our party we were given an extra bedroom at no charge. The place is decorated in period furniture and was walking distance from the downtown area; close to shops and dining. And to top it off the breakfast was out of this world- I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Awesome

I made a reservation but had to cancel due to the Covid Pandemic. My Reservation is 2 1/2 months away but they still would not refund my money. Come to find out that they're  selling the place. No wonder they won't refund my money. There are a lot of nice places to stay in Bozeman. Don't waste your money on this place.

BEWARE!!

My husband and I had been in Grand Teton and Yellowstone for the previous week, and we spent the night at the Lehrkind Mansion before flying home. It is a lovely Victorian home that has been lovingly restored and decorated with period pieces. Chris and John were such gracious hosts. The room and bath were comfortable and cozy. The mansion is located close enough to walk to Main Street where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was delightful, and we were a little sad that we were only staying one day. We will be back!

The Lehrkind Mansion was a great place to stay. We stayed in the Garden House and it was wonderful. The history of the Mansion and Garden House was fascinating. Definitely a place to stay again. The inn keepers were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was yummy. 

Yellowstone

We had a wonderful stay at Lehrkind!   The hosts were kind & considerate helping us upon a very late arrival due to airline delays.  Wonderful breakfasts in a beautiful dining room with other guests we enjoyed talking with. 
We will definitely stay again the next time we’re in Bozeman

Beautiful B&B

We stayed in the Garden House in the Elm Suite.  It has a lovely bright sitting area adjacent to the bedroom.  We had a full bathroom in our suite with a ceiling fan.  There was a closet to store suitcases and hang clothing.  There was also a sideboard/dresser to store clothing as well.  Chris was an excellent host telling us about the history of the B&B.  The breakfasts were fantastic with good coffee and orange juice. Its location is convenient to downtown and Main street.
The train does run through Bozeman and surrounding areas.  I don't think you are going to avoid hearing the train.  We were getting used to it by the time we left.

Beautiful Historic B&B

The property is lovely and the room (we booked the Spruce) was large.  However, note that there is no air conditioning.  While the room had ceiling fans, we could clearly hear the very loud train whistles throughout the night while we were trying to sleep- mostly unsuccessfully.  So if you are not a very sound sleeper, I do not recommend this spot.
