We have now stayed at this Guesthouse for a few years and it is always a very pleasant stay.  We had a warm welcome as usual and the room was nice and cosy and warm.  The Guesthouse is spotless and even though there wasn't the breakfasts this time it did not cause any problem at all.  The Guesthouse is very conveniently located and close to the city centre.  It is like home from home and could not wish for a better place to say in York would not stay anywhere else.

Perfect Stay

Fantastic location, helpful owner and the room was lovely, nicely decorated we had a fab sleep would definitely recommend and would love to stay again. Although no availability to have breakfast it was not a problem as there's lots of places to eat in York, took us about 5 minutes to walk to York Minster it was perfect. 

Brilliant 

We stayed here in March of this year for our first visit to York.  As always we chose our accommodation carefully using comments made on trip advisor and we were not disappointed.  Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast superb and our hosts very friendly.  Nothing was too much trouble.  We would not hesitate to recommend this guest house to other discerning travellers.

Exceptional

Spent two nights in the guesthouse and it was brilliant, Adele met us and gave us an extensive introduction to the accommodation and what was available. The rooms were large and well kitted out, only down side was the sensitive smoke alarm which I managed to set off whilst drying my hair.
breakfast was brilliant and cooked as you wanted, food available would satisfy most guests, definitely recommend this accommodation, and within easy reach to the shops, restaurants and bars

Home from home

Stayed at Bootham at the beggining of the month, to celebrate an aniversary.  B&B was lush, very clean and tidy, comfy beds, and everything you would need in a room. 

About a 10 minute walk from the centre, with plenty to do without taxis/buses.

Breakfast was cooked to order, and nothing was a hassle for the owner Dean. He was very polite and welcoming. 
Wanted you to feel like home to home. 

Would deffo go back here again, this will be our spot when we go to York again!
