The property is set in a beautiful and peaceful location and our room overlooked a lovely well maintained garden.  We were warmly welcomed, the room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed.   Breakfast was delicious. Shame we could not stay longer.

Perfect!

I booked this B & B as it was my husband's birthday and we were  going to visit  an event at the Motor Museum nearby the next day.  Th e room was lovely as was the setting.  I did however feel the complimentary tray was a bit sparse and seemed to  accommodate a single person.  Breakfast was nice as the other guests and us were seated around one table, a nice touch.  However, if you wanted white bread (yes, i am not very  health conscious ) or English mustard, there wasn't any.  I didn't really feel it was value  for money (£145  for one night) but otherwise,  the setting and the room made up for it.

Visit to Austons Down Farm

A superb room in a really lovely B&B. Very friendly & welcoming hosts. The room was spotlessly clean with a large en-suite, we could not fault it at all. Fresh milk & bottled water was supplied in a fridge, a very welcome touch.
Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of cereals, jams & hot cooked food. Ample parking. If you are looking for a nice, quiet & relaxing location, look no further! We would thoroughly recommend Austons Down to anyone!

A fabulous place to stay!

A lovely family run B & B that sits in the heart of some of Englands finest countryside Warwick Sratford on Avon Henley in Arden the Cotswolds all on the doorstep If you are looking for a base to explore central UK you would be hard pushed to find a nicer spot.

Real Home from home

We stayed for a 3 night break in the most beautifully spacious room. Surrounded by comfort and delightful hospitality from Lucy and John. The biggest bathroom with an enormous bath and shower and the comfiest of beds. We were offered tea and biscuits on arrival and gave us a chance to check out the guest areas downstairs. 
We had a lovely walk around the farm perimeter and the views from the house- which is really very grand, are beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a personal fridge outside the room with bottled water restocked and milk. 
Breakfast was lovely and highly recommend all in offer! This is a grand house and clearly a well loved home but is also a haven of peace and a little luxury for those visiting. Easy drive to Stratford and to Warwick and lovely villages around. We made full use of the restaurant recommendations on the Austons Down website and were not disappointed. Sad to see the area so quiet during these Covid times. Hygiene was top marks and spotless accommodation. Not to be passed when looking for the best accommodation. We loved it

Fantastic surroundings, beautiful

If you're looking for a little luxury I would recommend having a night or two away at Austons Down Farm, Saddlebow Lane, Claverdon, CV35 8PQ. Tel. 01926 842068. It is so conveniently situated for Stratford upon Avon or Warwick Castle. Lucy Horner is an excellent host and the breakfast is delicious. The house is spectacular and the bathroom we had was out of this world. Book up well in advance so you're not disappointed. Thank you to all concerned.

What a treat

We were on route to Rochdale and found this gem !
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like family 
The house and grounds were spectacular and the attention second to none. During COVID time’s an oasis of normality prevails and super clean , beautiful room and breakfast was  perfect !
Thanks to Lucy and John for making our overnight stay memorable

Last minute getaway and find of the century

Everything was excellent from the moment we walked through the door everywhere was spotless the beds were very comfy the en-suite was large and with a super shower and bath,  double basins (his and hers) The grounds were beautiful and nothing was too much trouble from Lucy or John

What a venue. A grand double fronted Manor House but essentially a family home. The rooms are huge and tastefully presented. My room had a large en suite with a walk in shower and was excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order and in true farmhouse style has fresh eggs and fantastic sausages. Just select your breakfast choice the evening before and the time you want it and you won’t be disappointed. Friendly atmosphere and great value

Personal service excels

Stayed her for one night to break a long drive home and what a find! My husband had booked in advance so I wasn't sure what to expect and we were amazed. We certainly weren't expecting such beautiful and grand accommodation. The house and grounds are amazing, the room was lovely and provided all the amenities you could need - even an iron and ironing board tucked away in the ample wardrobes. The breakfast was a delight and our hosts very welcoming and friendly. We had stayed in a few B and B places on this trip and this was  by far the best, and it wasn't even the most expensive. It was a pleasure I look forward to experiencing again.
